Is anyone giving the Dems a free pass on this Gov't shut down?

I can't get past that it takes two sides and both really just don't give a shit about the people.  I don't see it any other way.

    No compromising.

One wants a wall and one does not. There is no giving an inch for either side you either give in completely and let the other win or you stand your ground and hope the other side folds. There is no middle ground to meet here.

No, the repubs walked away from the dreamers under Obama and Team Trump Treason walked away when President Coulter and VP Rushbo freaked out. Team Trump Treason said he’d own the shut down and the Dems rightly oppose the wall as do a majority of Americans. The repubs and Team Trump Treason own this as do the idiots who elected him. No, both sides are not the same.

The Dems refuse to budge with a gun pointed at their head. The stupid wall is a bad idea. Bad ideas cannot be allowed to germinate. This shutdown is completely on the repubs (I'd like to buy an 'e'). They can own it- let's not spin the narrative at all.

I'd consider this both-sidesing this one if a) the GOP did not specifically wait until the Dems had control of the House to get going and B) most Americans wanted a wall.

The timing of this tells me that the GOP wanted to put a gun to the Dems head because they didn't have the balls to vote for it when they were the only party in power.  I almost want to see the House Dems go for it just to see whether the Party of Fiscal Responsibility backs out.

Flights halted at LaGuardia.  This is the issue that's gonna rile up the People That Matter and start a path toward ending the shutdown.

It'd be nice if the dems compromised a bit.  Some of these same dems have voted for the wall in the past.  That's the thing that pisses me off.  Politics suck.

Dems passed a budget bill in the House.  House controls the purse strings.

The wall is an issue to be negotiated separately.  It is not a budget issue.

This is 100% on the Republicans in the Senate and the Russian Agent in the White House

Because tRump is just being a douche in order to keep a campaign promise...except the promise was that MEXICO WOULD PAY FOR THE WALL.  Why should the dems agree to add $6B for a "wall" when the border experts don't want a wall?

And why compromise? Team Trump Treason has many options. Options? Yea, options. "Hey Vinnie, I needs a favor, you know, I want to exercise my options, you hear me? I'm a wanna get my wall, using the option, got it Vinnie? Make it happen. Use the option."

And what do the American people get with a "down payment?" How big is the down payment? 20% like a real estate investment property? 10%, like with good credit? 5%, like a first time wall buyer? And what about the previous $1.8BB that has been appropriated but not a dollar spent? What about that money? Is it for decorating expenses? And Mexico? What about Mexico? How much are they paying? SUCKERS.

The tipping point. When is it? I know f**kface thinks the grocery stores will greet the federal employees with salutations and run a tab for their purchases until they start getting paid (what a f**king idiot)... but things have got to be getting very hostile at ground level.

There isn't "already a wall in place", there are sections of barrier, with variable and questionable efficacy. "The Wall", as Trump's concept, is very different, with major implications in many areas, not least of all environmental. I don't understand why you don't understand this.

    No compromising.

    Really?

The Dems refuse to budge with a gun pointed at their head. The stupid wall is a bad idea. Bad ideas cannot be allowed to germinate. This shutdown is completely on the repubs (I'd like to buy an 'e'). They can own it- let's not spin the narrative at all.
It'd be nice if the dems compromised a bit.  Some of these same dems have voted for the wall in the past.  That's the thing that pisses me off.  Politics suck.

Compromise? What's the compromise in wall or no wall? A nice little 5 foot picket fence with attractive landscaping?
I don't understand the dems platform on this one, there's obviously already a wall in place; what is the harm in adding to it?
There isn't "already a wall in place", there are sections of barrier, with variable and questionable efficacy. "The Wall", as Trump's concept, is very different, with major implications in many areas, not least of all environmental. I don't understand why you don't understand this.
And it's estimated that "The Wall" as Trump envisions it would cost like $25 billion dollars.
