Damn is this real , someone that works in the facility is responsible..
Yes, it's real.  I am not so sure it is an employee, hospital security is not always that good.  When my mother was in the hospital with a broken hip her roommate was getting visitors all hours.  I know hospitals around here have relaxed rules in regard to visitors. I'm not saying it's not an employee of the hospital, I just know from when my mother was in the hospital, the staff is to busy to monitor who is visiting.
I work in a hospital and no one gets in with out showing proof of who you’re there to visit , but these facilities don’t have the same security procedures I’d be shocked if it’s not an employee..
South Nassau I walked in and out as I pleased.  No security check and I don't look like the boy next door, lol.

Seriously though, who has sex w someone in a coma?!?

DNA testing can solve it.  Holy shit
well, yeah, only if the father's DNA is on file, or they have grounds to obtain it.

A request for male staff members' DNA by police investigators:

    https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/world/police-seeking-dna-of-male-staff-at-health-care-facility-where-woman-in-vegetative-state-gave-birth/ar-BBRZDs3?ocid=spartanntp
DIdn't have time to read the article yet, but I assume it is just voluntary at this point. DNA usually requires a warrant, and I don't know how you'd convince a judge to issue a warrant based off gender.
DNA is probably the only shot they have at solving this, but I don't think it is very high.
I believe they have obtained search warrants.
It does report there was a warrant. I am shocked that got approved, for a blanket search warrant for every male faculty member. That's like if a woman gets raped at home, then the police obtain a warrant for every male's DNA in the entire apartment complex she lives in. They need more cause than gender and where you worked to grant that. I would think if they narrow it down to only 3 different employees who worked closely with her during the time of inception, that I can see.
I also wouldn't be surprised if the guy is caught and some fancy lawyer had the DNA results thrown out due to an invalid warrant-no cause.
I was surprised they obtain a search warrant that covers all male employees.  I would suspect that some employees will retain a lawyer and challenge the warrant in court.

It's not even that unusual a fetish - there are loads of porn vids out there about this, as well as molesting people who are passed out or sleeping or whatever. And necrophiliacs also will do this as a kind of stand in for dead people. :-/

I knew it was a thing or fetish. But I wouldn't have guessed it wasn't unusual. I would have guessed it was actually pretty rare.

I think what's actually rare is simply the opportunity to do it. :(

Many terrible ones. I've been the victim of this several times myself. The first time it happened I was 14 and the man was at least 30.

Oh no. That was back when nothing was ever done about that stuff. I did call him out so everyone on the train knew, but nobody did anything. It did make him get off the train, but that's it. Another time when a guy grabbed me and tried to maul me sexually in a crowd, I started yelling "pervert! pervert!" and pushed him against the crowd hard, and some guy punched him in the face, and then he ran off. That was more satisfying. Another time when a group of men tried to drag me into a van, I managed to punch one of them with the keys I had sticking out of my knuckles for protection. But all the other times, the men had better plans and were out of there after the groping before I or anyone could do anything... Things are better in last few years though. Now there are way more cameras and stuff installed in public spaces, so there is more of a point to reporting it now. Plus, the police and media actually react to reports now. Before maybe 5 or 6 years ago I guess, if you reported incidents like this, they'd usually just tell you there is nothing they can do, basically (which is what I was told when I was being stalked by a guy I didn't know for 3 months once... they said that until he actually harmed me physically, they couldn't do shit).  But the fact remains that even with better reactions from authorities and with more cameras, these kinds of assaults are very unnerving and unsettling for women, and most people's natural reaction is not to report it. It's embarrassing, they feel like they don't want to draw attention to it, there is an ineffable sense of shame (that doesn't mean they think it's their fault) that keeps them from reporting. Plus, they feel like there is nothing anyone will really do about it anyhow, they can' provide a good description, so don't think there is any point... That's a justified feeling. But it is getting better. But what's not getting better is the men doing it. Oddly, it doesn't seem to me like there are fewer men doing these things, even with the higher awareness about it.

Yeah I been groped in crowded transit and in concerts. Once I was able to catch the guy's arm and cuss him out. It's very annoying and unpleasant but trying to be forced into a van would be terrifying. How awful!
