When Trump started being awful (morally, legally etc.) there was an argument that candidates should show their tax records so voters know they are not susceptible to blackmail from overseas governments.
I like the fact that we now know America could also avoid future Trump-astrophes by just having candidates answer the simple question "What is a tariff?"
