When Trump started being awful (morally, legally etc.) there was an argument that candidates should show their tax records so voters know they are not susceptible to blackmail from overseas governments.
I like the fact that we now know America could also avoid future Trump-astrophes by just having candidates answer the simple question "What is a tariff?"

as a canadian, one thing that is starting to irk me is that JT is no longer being held to the right standard. he is being compared to trump and only trump for some reason. he is being heralded as this incredible alternative that americans are super jealous about (and annoyingly, not just because of his superior intellect, but his looks as well). we should be holding him to the standards by which we elected him, not by how much of a non-trump he is.Bentleyspop said:
