Voted straight ticket female... if no woman was in the race, i didnt vote.

Will likely do that the rest of my life when possible. Same goes for minority candidates

    Progress
Another 1st not mentioned - WA-8 went Dem for the first time ever, so WA flipped one of the House seats. Elected Dr. Kim Schrier, a local pediatrician, who ran on a healthcare reform platform. First time candidate going up against an established GOP candidate that had run (and lost) 3 previous state-wide elections. She will be the only female doctor in Congress. About time the old boys club of doctors gets a new perspective.
    But will she overprescribe oxy?

Why would you even bother sharing this?
The republicans actually elected a dead pimp in Nevada and two congressmen who are currently under indictment.

    Memes are worthless.

C'mon Mcgruff! You're better than this. Nice bunch of rips on us MN folk though I see. We were the only state that will probably see a DFL house seat go R, and maybe 2 with one still too close to call.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Right, and R's elected a sexual assaulting racist president. Which is worse, being unable to win against ignorant morons or being the one to vote for the pimp and assaulter? I guess I'd walk away thankful I didn't have to represent such a group.

So you have no clue if a newly elected congresswoman has an IQ lower than a salamander, and if the other one married her brother?  You're really not sure about these things?

The anti-Semitic comments about the two on the right.  Obviously not the salamander one.  There were over 870 candidates for the house yesterday, how the hell would I know about everyone?

Where your meme asking whether Sec'y Sonny Perdue really made a raging racist comment at a Florida rally last week (hint..he did).

(psst...most probably don't know what "DFL" means)

    As for the poster:
    • Starting off with the hyperbolic "IQ lower than a salamander" sort of sucks the legitimacy out of that one.  Age-motivated at best.  Ethnicity motivated at worst.
    • I don't know much about Menendez.
    • The other two are Muslims from Minnesota and as far as I can tell they are being accused of being anti-semetic and/or America-hating because they are Muslims.  Nothing but a xenophobic smear. That said, Keith Ellison (right) was just elected secretary of state and was accused of abusing a former girlfriend.

That's all I needed to know.  Thanks for explaining the two on the right in an educated manner without attempting to throw insults.  I do appreciate it.  (menendez is a pos by the way)
