Last year as the Houston Astros won the World Series Trumpito was calling for the Death Penalty on the Home Depot rental truck driving Manhattan Terrorist. He also called for ending the visa program that the suspect Sayfullo Saipov used to get into the U.S. from Uzbekistan.
He also called for last-minute changes to the House Republican tax bill on Wednesday, as GOP tax writers were rushing to complete it in time to unveil it. Trump reportedly pushed to name the proposal "The Cut Cut Cut Act," which Republican leadership resisted. He also said on Twitter that the GOP should address an Affordable Care Act fix in the bill. "Wouldn't it be great to repeal the very unfair and unpopular individual mandate in ObamaCare and use those savings for further tax cuts," Trump tweeted. Trump also said he would blame his treasury secretary, Steven Mnuchin, and national economic council director, Gary Cohn, if the tax plan fails.
There was also the gunman who "nonchalantly" walked into a Walmart store in suburban Denver and began shooting randomly, killing 3 innocent people.

Sounds like he was in support of the message, but didn't think Trump was overtly racist and white nationalist enough for his standards. That's a lot different than being opposed to him. Twist it how you want though. If you don't think a message of hate and fear played a part in this and that Trump isn't fueling that at his rallies and on Twitter then I'm not sure we'll ever be able to agree on anything.

How about when his wife Michelle said this on February 18, 2008; “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm really proud of my country.”
We saw hate and divisiveness -- from the top. And remember, from the left, not the right. From the elitists, not the populists.
From Joe Biden who said this on September 15 recently at the Human Rights Campaign dinner, “They, not you, have an ally in the White House. This time they have an ally. There are small percentage of American people-virulent people-some of them the dregs of society.”
And of course from the queen of hate, the empress of divisiveness, Hillary Clinton, on September 9, 2016, we got this: "You could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables."
I have never heard Republicans talk about fellow Americans like that. President Trump has never talked about fellow Americans like that.

Trump isn't directly to blame for any of them if you want to split hairs about it. He has always done a great job of creating a buffer and playing ignorant when it comes to the meanings of his words. When you pander to white nationalists and racists, it's not like they don't notice. Just like the fuck me eyes you give the random stranger at the bar. No direct overt actions necessary.
