If the weather is good, they should be held in a parking lot for one BIG Tailgate Party. PHILLY is a great place for Tailgating.(as i'm sure the Locals already know)eeriepadave said:

This is actually a fact. Also the reason why I miss Camden shows. That's right, I said it.cutz said:

That's what I'm saying - nothing like drinking all day with a water view of the city's skyline as PJ is playing from 45 cars all clashing with different songs.cutz said:

This year i'm thinking 79 wins is doable
too bad they couldn't finish ahead of the Nats.eeriepadave said:
Well the first half yeah, last month or two not really.Ledbetterman10 said:
Still a fun season though. My hope at the beginning of the seasons was 82 wins (and I thought that was a huge stretch at the time) so hopefully they can get to that.eeriepadave said:and there goes the season....
Hopefully they can get at least 80 wins and finish ahead of Washington.Sure changes are coming in the offseason. As long as they don't get rid of Nola or Hoskins i'm down with anything including and hoping the coach.8/28/98- Camden, NJ

I'm a fan, but I decided a while ago that they are a much better studio band than live. They're Valium in-person. Or at least The Tower might be a better venue than a large one.The Juggler said:Any Death Cab fans here? Playing the Tower next week. New album is real good
I'll have to check out that album.
Neil Young show last night. Good stuff. But between my last Pearl Jam show, and realizing how old we're getting as a demographic, and then last night where a lot of the even older people were straight-up geezers is making me rethink my concert-going. And these goddamn old fogies need to figure out how their goddamn cell phones work and turn off their flashes.
Also rethinking Neil Young shows as his price tag is getting too steep. I guess he's gotta make those alimony payments.0 -

I really like the song Gold rush. Haven't picked up the album yet though. Might try and pick up a ticket to see them. Only seen them once and that was at a festival.Jearlpam0925 said:

I really really like the new album. Saw them open for PJ in Boston a million years ago and didn't have the same impression JP did. That's what got me into them in the first place. Taking the wifey down on Wednesday.....because all of my old foggie geezer friends aren't down for a school night show. Losers!eeriepadave said:

Yeah, definitely good stuff and I was fine with the price I paid, though there were definitely some outrageously priced tickets, but the show was a little slow at times. Per usual, Neil Young does what Neil Young wants. Hell of an old crowd.Jearlpam0925 said:

I saw them open up in Boston, too. Believe that was 2004, right before the VFC show in Reading - where I also saw them open up. And I agree - those openers piqued my interest. And then I went and saw them as a headliner and it was sleep-worthy. Ben Gibbard doing Postal Service stuff was fun at the Mann, though. The Juggler said:

Again, maybe the smaller venue will be key.
Transatlanticism and Plans were fucking great albums.

Got a Jeopardy rant. Does anyone here watch? Here is what annoys me about the show. In Final Jeopardy if you are losing you must bet either everything or nothing. no in between. If you bet less than everything and you win you've only cost yourself money in the long run. It makes zero sense if you are going to bet to bet less than everything if you are losing. it happens every night and it drives me crazy. ok end of rant.0
