    Worried about the mid-terms? We’ll see how Team Trump Treason’s preferred candidates fair but for the record, I expect Florida to elect a repube governor. One more repube in the house that won’t have to vote for impeachment. Because crying “racism” has been the playbook? How about it’s because it’s become so obvious, it’s mainstream.

    I wouldn't say it was a direct racial sour, but it's obvious that word was in his head hours after learning who his opponent will be.

    If you have an example of a republican using this word in reference to a white opponent, I'm all ears.

    I've personally never heard anyone ever come close to using "monkey" in a that context, period.... To be honest, I've never heard anyone use any racial slur against black people, like in real life, unless they were quoting someone they saw do it or something. I had a great grandmother who reportedly said, "Oh, look at the cute little (P-word)!" about a little black kid in an all white town, but that was back in 1958 or so.
    (That said, yes, I am still fully aware of the racial problems going on, and have known black Americans who talked to me all about it - they were in Canada specifically to escape it. So I do know people do it).
    I grew up surrounded by every racial slur you can imagine, porch monkeys was a big one.
    "N***** rig it" was probably the most common.  Hell, I heard a middle school teacher say it once!
    I was recently warned (by a retired home economics lady teacher) not to go to Kennywood Amusement Park because "the blacks have taken it over.  They push white people out of line and start fights" 
    Later, when we were gently mocking it's very dubious nature, she doubled down and said it was easy to believe because the same thing happened at Strolling N*****s Mall (Rolling Acres Mall)
    That lady is someone I love dearly and she's a great person who would never actually mistreat a black person without reason.  That's what people don't understand about casual racism in America, it's not like we have tens of millions of evil people.  They aren't evil, just ignorant and stubborn.

    This is why I laugh my ass off when the professor from Canada, Mr BS claims to know what an average Trump voter is, and better than any of us.  What a joke lol 

    If you haven't ever been told to "n***** rig it" or been accused upon late entry of living on "BPT" (black people time)...you don't know shit about the average Trump voter/supporter.

    Yeah, there was a fight there shortly after it opened, someone knocked over something with a bang and a few people thought it was a gunshot and started a bit of a stampede.
    Just like with Kennywood, since the teens fighting were black, it was deemed a riot and the mall never really recovered from the bad press.
    Of course, the hillbilly version is that white people weren't allowed in by the black gangs.

    Well this sure monkeys up the argument it was an innocent slip of the tongue
    that's definitely damning, no doubt about it. 

    i will say, though, that many politicians make the mistake of blindly joining social media groups that pledge support to them without first vetting their content. But this doesn't look good. 
    And I’ll say that many politicians join social media groups with their eyes wide open, knowing full well what they’re signing up for and believing everything spewed. And if they do as you suggest, they shouldn’t hold public office
    I would tend to agree.
