Pitchfork reviewed DMB for the first time ever. They are cool now.

Just to be clear, you mean Pitchfork is cool now? ;)

Condolences on having to listen to Dave Matthews ;)

I used to make fun of my friends that would go see Dave Matthews every summer, let alone listen to his records. Then I went to a Dave Matthews concert. B)

    Whatchoo talkin' bout Willis?

Just winding ya'll up. He seems like he's a good dude i just don't care for his music including the one time i seen him at a festival.

    Finally!
I've wanted this one for some time but wasn't sure which version.  This is the one.  The sound on this is terrific!
Johnny Thunders & The Heartbreakers, The Lost '77 Mixes

Nice! Where'd you get it? I've got the Live at Max's but need to get L.A.M.F.!
I always check the few local/ semi-local stores but no one had it so went on line.  I'm usually leery of buying vinyl on eBay but I got this from rowche-rumble on eBay.  Over 13,600 sales with 100% positive feedback and well deserved.  I was super pleased!

Just picked this one up today.  Vince Guaraldi, "Oh Good Grief", Omnivore Records 50th Anniversary reissue on beautiful translucent red vinyl.  Oh what a record!  I've wanted a good copy of this for ages.  This is the one.  Happy, happy, happy!!!

I just happened upon it at Dimples in Sacramento.  I was leafing through their new arrivals and all of the sudden... Charlie Brown!  Had forgotten I wanted that one.  It's great!!

  • Talking Heads 'Speaking in Tongues'.

Bought it new. Terrible. Unlistenable. I searched reviews and apparently that's the issue with the repress.

    Sucks.

Took it back and exchanged it for Iron Maiden 'Piece of Mind'. Listening to it right now. Revelations. Flight of Icarus.

    Awesome!

Haha yes it was. I didn't realize there were so many issues with Southeastern though and I was reading about the issues as I listed to Something More Than Free. I was like oh shit this is going to be a horrible copy of Southeastern and I can't return it!!

But it was the newest repress and sounded excellent  B)
