Real classy. Someone not wanting to lose out on all the money they spent to see a band they love with their kids and that's your response. Not everyone can just blow this off and only be concerned for Ed no matter what it cost them. Not an easy decision for the band and a terrible situation for the fans.

I am one of those fans who travelled from Ireland with family too, we took time off work, London is not cheap etc.
That response about being pissed off is greedy.
We need Ed back. We love this music.

it's not greedy. it's just someone reacting to a shitty situation. we all do it. all situations affect all people in different ways. just because your reaction is different than rangers doesn't make yours right. it just makes it right for you.

Ok. Maybe its interpretation of "pissed off"
I always understood it as angry. No need for anger.
But maybe rangers just means disappointed.

Oh man, worst news but I feel fortunate to have seen them once in Amsterdam and last night. Great shows and had a blast at both!! At least we’re in a beautiful city with lots to see and do. Hope Ed can rest up for the rest of the tour! Hoping for the best for everyone with plans to go to shows. Going to continue drinking pints for the duration of this evening. Take care all you beauties!

I looked at trying to get home tonight to preserve a work holiday in order to definitely attend the new date, but no dice. Too expensive. Doubt I'll be able to attend it. That's life.

I hope he's okay, pretty concerning to read about the post at first, but he's a determined one - he'll be back for his fans in no time.

Im greedy because i want my ticket money back so i can do other stuff with my kids.Im not a millionaire i am just a working class guy who was really forward to my kids seeing pearl jam for the first time.

I feel bad for the ones missing out but I am hoping for a July 16th reschedule. I think I can talk my wife into it.... or get divorced. It could go either way really at this point.

Look i took my kids today for their first show. Yeah lots of excitement has now turned to emptiness. But I know the next rescheduled show may well be the show of our lives let alone theirs . Life goes on and life is painful. But just sometimes things have a habit of coming right.

I have travelled from Australia for this tour, 7 shows to be exact and yes I am devastated about tonight and dreading an announcement that more will be cancelled! But I have seen them twice in Amsterdam and London 1, I have never been to Europe before so whilst I will be very upset if more are cancelled, I am getting to see some amazing places because of my love for this band. I hope that it is nothing too serious and Eddie and the band continue to encourage us fans to see the world with their amazing live shows.

The HB2 bill was passed by NC long after the tour was scheduled, that is bad luck.

I'm just wondering if three days are really enough to recover. He should take no risk.

Fingers crossed that the Dr. told him 3 days because it's not a chronic issue.

TBH anyone who was there last night can’t really be that surprised. Ed battled like a trouper and the guys gave us a good show. But when he thanked everyone at the end you could tell his voice was shot. Just hope it hasn't done any permanent damage. It must as hard for the band and crew as it is for those disappointed and who may have travelled great distances to be there. Get well soon Eddie.
