I feel EXTREMELY bad for Baron. That poor kid looks like the saddest kid in America. But why feel bad for Melania? She has complete control over her situation. It's not like she has battered wife syndrome or anything. She's just a massive gold digger. She could remove herself from her misery at any time... unless she was stupid enough to sign a contract that forces her to stay for a set period of time. Even if that were the case, she signed it. I feel no pity for her whatsoever. She's just a huge enabler for Trump, and clearly money hungry in the extreme. Depends on who is administering it and the line of questioning. They can definitely be manipulated, but when given correctly, I would fully trust the result, unless you're dealing with a sociopath.dignin said:

I'm trying to be in the middle these days... It seems so many people who say they are centrist and compassionate don't know anything that is going on in politics and rather only repeat talking points from their echo chambers and media bubbles. The right does it with FOX NEWS like a puppet.. and I'm noticing the left does it just as much. The more I research.. Trump is horrible.. So were all the rest including Obama and the Clintons. Yet they do have great personalities and a media helps cover for their BS. Nobody talks truths.. and facts about what's going on in America and in the world its all just a big soap opera. People want to feel better with convenient lies rather than hard horrible truths. The one thing I know is that the Government has too much power and does whatever the hell it wants. It has for a long long time. Bernie got screwed from the beginning and people care less and cant hold the DNC accountable.. . The Government cant police itself. It protects its own.. no matter the administration. All the while Washington States will tax everything to death like were all a bunch of ATM Machines... Screw them all.

I've listened to that one. Found it very interesting. I was in a hurry when I responded, so I didn't elaborate, but the polygraph is only one tool when assessing truth. In person interview, physical evidence, background check and character reference checks are all necessary if the person administering the polygraph is really looking to get accurate answers and results. Like I said, they can and can't be trusted which is why they are not admissible in court.dignin said:

I hate to even say it, but without going into detail, I have been on the receiving end of what I would call a false/positive polygraph, so I understand the process, how it is conducted and the way questions can be rephrased. It's a lot like the psychological assessments (i.e. MMPI) in that it can fuck with your head, but for the most part get down to who you really are, not just who you project yourself to be. If you have a moral compass and are struggling with things that have happened in your life, it will accurately detect that irregularity, but it may be unrelated to the surface level question.It's a hopeless situation...0 -

I've been on several threads proclaiming Trump as popular and pretty much stating acceptance that we have him for two terms (which has a lot of people assuming I am a Trumpee). While I still think that's possible, I am starting to get a feeling that we're seeing the first budges of the GOP coming around. It's Flake and McCain, sure, but we have the correspondent that just quit Fox News. I think I heard on some telecast that some of them are unhappy with the congratulations. It's getting pretty hard to ignore.
My guess is that their motivation has been that Trump still remains popular among party loyalists and they think they'll lose if they don't stand with him (not very patriotic, if you ask me). They probably also fear that Fox News will criticize them. But it'll be really interesting to see how things go leading up to the 2018 election. Will Trump have coattails? Will they try to distance themselves?

I don't care how red the district or state, if I were a dem running against a repube, I'd be hammering my opponent with the words of those who have served and are condemning Team Trump Treason interspersed with Putin, Putin, Putin, maybe even have Team Trum Treason's face morphing into Putin's face. And asking the basic question of the repubes: what are they hiding and what are they covering up? Why did they end the house committee investigation without gathering all of the available information and calling/subpeoning witnesses, some for follow up? End the ad with hookers partying and laughing with a bed in the background. Team Trump Treason's 35% base will never budge.
