I wouldn't count on the Free Beacon as the most accurate historical record of the situation. Who knows the timeline of events, when/if he was dishonest or when/if he came clean. But either way, at some point he admitted the issue and has been re-elected several times since then.BS44325 said:

it really depends a lot less on what he did (mainly because he has accomplishe so little and seems fairly incapable of getting the majority of his party on board with anything) and more on who is the democratic candidate at that point.
