First time bidder - We're just going to do Wrigley again, we want seats, do I just make my 1st & 2nd choices for 18th/19th for reserved and 3rd & 4th choices for GA as a backup?
Yes. But you may want to watch the odds for a bit and see which show is more popular.

STRESSING ME OUT! I'll wait until after lunch and see how things look. Thank you!

I'm all for shows not at Fenway in the future if that's the price of em (Boston is uber expensive, and all the work that has to go into setting up the show there sure is, I'm sure), but I'll be droppin coin for my favorite band.

The days of PJ being a cheap concert ticket are long gone. These are more expensive than Jack White or the Bruno Mars concert I took my wife to.
You can thank the $35+ venue fee per ticket
These ticket prices are right in line with what they charged in their European tour. I don't think the venue fees are to blame here.
  • So I have a question here. I noticed the prices are a big high here, and I selected reserved and standing on a few shows. I will only be selected and charged for either reserved or standing correct, not both?

    $245 a pair for Wrigley - $259 for Safeco
As with any show Ticketmaster is involved in...grab your ankles...the fees are insane!

This year at Fenway there is a $40 venue fee for their concert series per ticket.....according to the Fenway box office.

Fenway ticket prices went up substantially.  $188 for a pair in 2016 and $247 now.  That's an increase of $29.50 per ticket.

    Anyone else get this message?
"Due to overwhelming demand, the lottery is now closed."?
  • If i put GA as my first choice, and reserved seating as my second choice, does that hurt my chances of getting reserved seats if I dont get GA?

Correct, only one pair per show, if you win GA, your reserved entry is cancelled and vice versa.

Yes, you can only get ONE pair per show, but you could get multiple shows.  If you can only afford ONE pair, you should limit your entries to one show.

Yes. First choice gets best chance, then second choice is second best and so on.
I thought they originally said with the lotto second choices aren't granted until everyone with a first choice got it, but I dont think that seems to be the case.

Yeah I too was surprised to see the prices.  But seriously, it costs $200 a ticket to see a lame version of the Lion King.  I will gladly pay $125 a ticket for 2-3 hours of live Pearl Jam!

Trying to remember how I did this last time. I want to enter for both Wrigley shows so I hopefully get one. If I enter as follows, I think if my name does get picked, I'll have a good chance at not getting both. Basically, I'm hoping to get at least one night but not both. I figure if I keep night 1 as my top two priorities and night 2 GA as my third, worst case scenario is GA for both nights goes fast and I get one night of reserved....or am I way overthinking this?

    Wrigley 1 GA
    Wrigley 1 Reserved
    Wrigley 2 GA
    Wrigley 2 Reserved
