we all know what he was doing. could not bother to make a statement. could not bother to even tweet about it. all he could muster was how unfairly the media is treating him. again. like some butthurt child.Halifax2TheMax said:

If that wouldn't be possible maybe a reminder to how these economic policies some here desire actually are, in fact, horrible policies that lead to despair so great that people are killing animals in the streets to survive.
But while all of you get worked up over the President allegedly using a word to describe these situations, of which CNN is even backtracking on, maybe work up a little outrage in your spare time that the House, with bipartisan support, blocked the Amash amendment and will continue warrantless wiretapping of Americans.
I've given two examples, killing animals in the streets and people eating dirt cookies, to show that maybe these places are less desirable to live in but I'm told not to spread that word because they really aren't that word. Ok.
I guess there is no longer a reason for them to come here then since everything is good there, right?

We really need an AMT convention where we can read aloud some of our crazier posts and conversations. That would be fun.0

But let’s say it was. Norway uses Socialism, so why does it *seem* (I am not saying it works at all) to work there but not Haiti or Venezuela?

I think you are confusing philosophies here. "Liberals" (as if they are a homogeneous group) tend to be anti-nation building, like what was done by the Neo-cons in Iraq. Being anti-world police is isolationist which is a strain of conservatism. No administration or serious policy analyst has suggested that we withdraw from the Peninsula.bootlegger10 said:mrussel1 said:
So why make the case to attack NK if they invade the South? Why should we (you) care? Why not just withdraw and let SK and Japan fend for themselves? Your arguments are inconsistent.bootlegger10 said:World police = keeping troops around the world ready to strike when non-US territories are attacked. Sounds like you liberals are for it after all based on comments about being nearby to protect SK, Japan, etc....
No, usually the liberals are the ones who don't want to be world police, so I'm just surprised by the sudden military support. I'm just saying our tactics for it should be simpler. We built an arsenal that should be the biggest deterrent out there to prevent NK from attacking. We'll just have to back up our tough talk if they do something.

Say what you want about Ann Coulter....at least she's not a blind lemming Trump supporter like a lot of the people who voted for him (including the few who support him here). She's at least willing to call him out on his bullshit (albeit, coming from an entirely different point of view than most of us).vaggar99 said:Post edited by The Juggler onwww.myspace.com0 -
On Friday MLK's nephew, standing there with Trump, said MLK Day (today) is "not a day to hang out in the park....It's a day to do something to help someone else."
Today on MLK Day, Trump is golfing YET AGAIN.
