    there was a lot of fear surrounding his election, yes. but it is common knowledge the economy as a whole does not change that quickly. both sides are guilty of this, though. republicans blamed obama for the recession and massive debt, when it was, honestly, mostly bush's fault, and it was obama's admin that effectively turned that around. now trump is taking and getting credit for an economy created under obama. it's fucking hilarious. now, has trump ruined it immediately like everyone thought he would? no.
