    its been too long since i've had formal education in history and political science.  This whole thing is a sort of midlife revisit to perhaps my favorite high school and college subject matters

    I’m kinda over the complaining about golf I think. Didn’t care much when Obama golfed, don’t care much about trump (other than it’s just another example of hypocrisy).  Pretty sure presidents can work on a golf course if need be.

    Outside of the fact that it shows his poor work ethic and lack of interest in the job, when he’s at his properties he’s billing taxpayers and that money is coming directly back to him. At a minimum this is a yuge ethical violation where he’s using his position in government for personal monetary gain.

    It's not just the hypocrisy, it's the lack of transparency.  Why hide?  Who is tRump meeting/golfing with?  When 2/4 golfers are pros, how much work is really getting done?

    Here’s the transcript to a recent nyt interview with trump. Naturally it contains his full narcissistic ignorant ramblings, but nyt is getting some heat for the interviewers style. Basically just letting trump freewheel and only responding with reflective listening and softie curiousity questions. Most likely done that way because trump has a tantrum and ends things when pushed. What do you all think of this approach by journalists? I’m thinking the interviewer has little experience working with someone with trump’s mental health issues and depth of his personality disorder, so they just went with the tactic of letting trump go and see if he sinks himself.
