There is clear evidence pointing the finger at white males for mass shootings and black males for gang violence, so it's pretty comparable really.riley540 said:

Some folks say ban all Muslims, some folks say ban all guns...
Neither of them is right, but both of them have evidence to back their claims.
The main difference is that banning Muslims causes unnecessary and genuine suffering to families and little children, banning guns causes butthurt to hobbyists.Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0 -

Funny that the stories are now coming out that this guy is complaining about his gunshot wound, asking to hang ISIS flags in his hospital room, and very happy that people are dead while wishing he would have done more murdering. Yeah, he will be a great candidate for rehabilitation.2006 Clev,Pitt; 2008 NY MSGx2; 2010 Columbus; 2012 Missoula; 2013 Phoenix,Vancouver,Seattle; 2014 Cincy; 2016 Lex, Wrigley 1&2; 2018 Wrigley 1&2; 2022 Louisville0 -
Your “stereotypical” accent makes you out to be a bigot. If you made any remarks like this in an African American, Mexican or other accent you’d be labeled a major racist. Try making a stereotypical remark like this about the Jews and see where you end up. I’m beginning to think you’ve become obsessed in a very bad way about Trump.....it appears unhealthy.Halifax2TheMax said:

I'm not upset at all. I just like to point out that if this post was made about any other race or gender the backlash would be enormous. The Garbage comment was wrong. I should say the amount of posts is unhealthy. Everyone has a right to their own opinion.dignin said:

“The Jews.” Because we know they’re all the same, right? Funny how you focused on my post but not any of the other truly racist or bigoted posts that have been made in defense of Trump or white supremacy in general. I’m sorry my healthy obsession with a racist, bigoted, misogynistic president and his supporters bothers you. Guess I touched a nerve? Please let me know when it’s okay to talk about mass shootings after the next one. Thanks.elvistheking44 said:

It's really unfortunate this poor little rodent isn't complaining about a gunshot wound that blew his balls off. Someone please... take that ISIS flag and wrap it around his throat- really really tight for about five minutes.
He's a piece of shit mass murderer. Check that... terrorist. Gee... I almost allowed myself to be influenced.

I've come up with several ideas when dealing with the second amendment (mental/criminal background checks, registration, etc.); what exactly are you trying to say?tbergs said:
Take you're Skittles analogy and apply it to gun owners. It's the same thing. Yet, I don't see you pushing for extremes on that topic. Why?mcgruff10 said:
I'm not sure how being pro 2nd amendment and anti-terrorism goes hand and hand. But anyway, I'm not for a wall but I do think that we need to stop immigration from certain countries. To me I think of a bag of a 1000 skittles. Turns out three of the skittles are laced with poison; do you dip your hand into the bag?tbergs said:
Ok, what does that mean to you? Tightening borders = wall? Extreme vetting = bans? I'm sorry, but I see you and others talk about gun policy not changing the mass shootings and gun violence and your unwillingness to implement firearms possession standards, yet the above makes sense for the handful of terrorist attacks that happen every few years? I just can't even begin to understand that thinking. This is part of the reason we're a target by other countries and extremists. We're completely ignorant on how to solve our own problems, but then dictate to other countries on what to do.mcgruff10 said:
I don't think I am a part of the flock but I do believe that tightening our borders and extreme vetting is a good idea moving forward.tbergs said:Support terrorism, hmm you mean like the US has for years? You do understand we created most of the terrorism and have domestic terrorism of our own to go with it.
You'll never be able to create any policy or immigration law that stops terrorists from entering this country. Blanket and obscure statements about extreme vetting and tightening borders are bullshit. If you can't see that, then you are part of the flock.
How do we make the process more extreme when it's already this:

The evidence you’re supposedly referring to, (which is really just bad logic) could easily be applied to men. Nearly all violence is committed by men. Ket’s point the finger at them instead of narrowing it down to religion or certain countries.riley540 said:

It’s ok to say men or more violent than women because it is true. Someone in the comments before said African American men are more violent then white men, ( I haven’t checked into this, ) but if that is true, then it’s just true. Not racist. If more white men do mass shootings then that’s also a fact. It’s also a fact that Islam has been skewed and some evil people have taken over it, and are causing terrorism all over Europe and in some cases the United States. I don’t see any problem with using evidence the make claims.Go Beavers said:

That being said, I am very pro immigration and think the good people in the world outweigh the bad. I think gun solutions on the left are too extreme mad immigration solutions on the right are too extreme. But facts are facts. We won’t solve issues until we can al accept this.0 -

It is categorically not true that African American men are more violent than white men. I'm amazed that this even needs to be pointed out, though I probably shouldn't be, given the comments we see on here and the rise again of the white supremacist movement.riley540 said:
