New song out today, "Up All Night."  Like the vibe of it. I think it will grow on me.

My Amazon order emailed me last week and said vinyl wouldn't arrive on release day, no other info tho. Any ideas if there are issues with the pressing?

DANG!  Actually, I'm on a self-imposed pre-new album strike right now anyway.  In the words of Frank Costanza, "I like to go in fresh!"

    I'll take con.
The first two were their rawest, most heavily Dylan influenced.  Not a bad thing.  But the last two albums (I'll included the one released tomorrow) are definitely in a different vein.  More polished rock.

I hadn't had an album take over my brain like LITD did in a long time.

    dig it.

but I will take the Dylan over the Dire Straits/Springsteen.

    liked the rawer sound.

First saw these guys live in 2009 and many times since.

I am happy for their success but I just can't get into the new stuff.

    I am def the minority.

I find a little too much of a country influence in the earlier albums. They're good, but I much prefer the latest two albums just because they drop that touch of what I think sounds country.

Amazing album. Glad my CD got dropped off today.  Vinyl is delayed (maybe just in Canada???).  Did anyone else get the vinyl today?

As someone new to the war on drugs, where does one start!? Was just previewing some tracks on I tunes and the new album really caught my ear. Can certainly hear the influences that some people / reviews have suggested. Would it be worth getting into the new album and working backwards? Or vice versa!?
