  • I went on a huge War on Drugs kick a while back. Love their stuff and can't wait for the live album.  Although my wife nearly ruined it one day by asking if I was listening to Bryan Adams.  Can't always get that out of my head when I'm listening now lol

Me!  Really great to hear them live on vinyl.  Admittedly I haven’t been able to crank it loud yet with a 4 month old in the house. I think all will enjoy - very excited about what’s coming from them!

I have not. I sent them a tweet this weekend and they said something along the lines of - they don’t know where they are because they were given the wrong tracking number. So, sounds like they haven’t gotten theirs yet?

From the “I’m sure this isn’t helpful now” department, I always try to order direct from the band for releases.  I hear too many horror stories these days from Amazon, newbury etc.

And my experience ordering directly from artist sites has been hit and miss. It really depends on who the artist is using for distribution and how many different variants they are having pressed. My preferred method is to visit the folks at Cheapo.

It’ll get here. Have to stream it until then.

I chose Newburry for their specific variant, and I've never had an issue with them prior to this. I have had multiple issues when bands have more recently been using virtual stores and Merchnow/Merchbar etc type stuff. Waterfall II by MMJ for example was a total disaster - delayed shipping, inaccurate info, "bonus" material wasn't included.

I always prefer ordering from the band or small store vs Amazon, etc. However, I can only tolerate so many issues.

Of course.  I should’ve clarified: this has been true for certain artists only.

If someone can explain how Pearl Jam was not able to do this to support Gigaton last year, I'd love to hear it. Thanks

They did do Dance of the Clairvoyants live (albeit it was for a concert relief fund and not a talk show)
