That would be awesome if they release a live album!  After hearing their live track on the "Good Music..." compilation, I tried to find other live recordings of the band online.  I found some great shows on https://archive.org/details/TheWarOnDrugsMusic?sort=-downloads.  These shows include mp3 and FLAC formats.  My favorite so far is their 9/19/2017 show at Terminal 5 in NYC.  I saw them on tour that year in Portland, Maine on 9/18 and their NYC setlist is very similar.  There's a high quality recording of a KEXP appearance, too.  Enjoy! Yasssss.  Preordered translucent green.  I have wanted them to release a live album for so long.  They are EXCELLENT in the studio, but they have all the nuances and variations live that PJ does.  Lots of different parts to solos.  "Eyes to the Wind" is a whole other animal live.

    Great news!

Their contribution to the Good Music... compilation is beautiful. Sought out the album it's on (Lost In The Dream) and that is beautiful, too, top to bottom. Looks like I've found a new band.

Jimmy...seriously.  I don't dare say here how high I hold this band, but suffice it to say, they are really, really, really good.  Its really tough for me to rank their albums because every time I think I've got it down, I'll hear a song and think "oh shit, this part coming up!"  So good.  I think of "Lost in the Dream" as skip lines on a dark midwestern highway; "A Deeper Understanding" is the Rocky Mountains bathed in moonlight.  So good.

It really is perfect open-road driving music. Out of the city, and into the great wide open. When I visited Death Valley, A Deeper Understanding was the soundtrack while driving into the park at twilight.

I saw the War On Drugs a couple years back at a small theater in Bloomington, IL. and was completely blown away by them live. Legit a top 10 favorite concert for me. Looking forward to the live album.
