    I love getting the holiday vinyl.  Of course I want it sooner than later but ultimately I don't give a shit when it comes.  Its such an old complaint around here "the holiday single never comes on time".  It has almost never come around the holidays.  And I still love the DEEP magazine as well.  In fact, I think its gotten better and better over the years.  Looking forward to this years stuff!

    There is no new album. There are no shows. What are they supposed to announce? They just said have your address updated for Shipping the single. Nothing is new with any of this. The only new part is that the band is only a part-time band at this point (and that is being generous) 
    They had a big countdown to a mystery announcement last big tour and album. I remember hearing rumors they were working on that album, but no formal announcement that I remember.
    Why does the 2016/2017/2018 tour rumor thread exist? Because there's never an announcement of a break, or that there will be a tour or an album until there has to be.
    And that's fine, my point was the single seems like one thing that doesn't have to be secret and a big reveal.  As some pointed out, many pay $40 for membership, and knowing that they don't tour very often anymore so no 10c tickets many years, the biggest benefit to the $40 is the single. Would just be nice to know if we get the 2016 single before 2018 or not. If its late its late, fine, would just like to know instead of guessing. Yes, they just said update your address, but I'll believe it ships when it ships, not to mentioned were a few months from 2018 and this is the 2016 single we're talking about.

    The lack of communication is just annoying sometimes. In the end I don't actually care about getting the single even close to on time. I don't think its unreasonable to ask for a few more formal/informal (santos-esque) updates though. 

    Basically paid for a product through my membership with an unknown delivery date, not many situations in life where that happens and it is accepted. Not much difference from the Anthology situation, too. I feel bad for those that ordered/paid it with no product in sight.

    just sign up your niece and nephew as analog and especially save your old fan club singles and use them as trade bait for GA tickets for the new tour. that's what i'm doing because the only PJ shows i want to see are from the rail.

    If this was Creed their fans would have sued by now for their $40 back.

    I do agree that that the secretive stuff is just silly. For instance, Jeff and Richard on PJ radio. Richard compliments Jeff on the stuff he's been writing and Jeff just says shhh. Come on.

    I don't mind the secretive stuff, little itbits like that build rumour and innuendo! It's a bit old school and a bit different to the usual online info overload!

    Maybe?  If it ends up being more "live" tracks than yah, people will.  Especially given how late it is.  If there's something original on it, I doubt we'd get many complaints.

    I actually like the old school feel of how this band does things. In house at 10c. Info when they are ready to give it. I like that they are not accessible in every way at any time.

    1) live tracks already accessible
    2) one of those one-off live collaborations that Ed had
