And honestly, why shouldn't people make fun of it here?my small self... like a book amongst the many on a shelf0 -

I agree that some of criticism directed towards him is a wasteful distraction, such as the hair and the hands and the orange skin and how his suits fit and shit like that. The golf cart thing has a tiny more substance just because it reflects on his general attitude, and people always pick up on stuff like that (although I also agree that if it's at his own golf course then it means nothing). All these little things about his actual behaviour culminate into something quite meaningful at the end of the day, because it is a constant reminder of the POTUS's rancid personality, his inability to lead, to consider others, to consider his own actions compared to others, and often his mental stability. So that's kind of a big deal and probably should remain a topic of conversation (and there are more important things still in the same kind of context but more important - things like him getting a folder with only good things about him in it twice a day, and him giving a political speech to the Boy Scouts, etc etc - that has very sinister connotations, and I don't see it just as a joke at all). The problem is that the media, and therefore many people, often fail to ALSO address a lot of other things.HughFreakingDillon said:

Yes, I think it's safe to assume that everyone posting here is aware of what Trump and his administration is up to. It's nice to break from all the bad news and have a laugh at Trump and his cults expense.mrussel1 said:

I agree with you... on a newscast or important public forum. This would qualify and neither. There's only two Trump supporters left and neither are eligible to vote in the US.HughFreakingDillon said:

Exactly. Put all of these little things together, and you've got yourself a fucking massive scary disaster.MayDay10 said:things like that just shine light into his character.... which most people suspect is shit. It isn't a big deal... but one puzzle piece, with many form the portrait.

I would also argue and say that anti-Obama folks focused on nothing but nonsense. Shit that wasn't even factual, and it worked in their favor.
I think a president who has severe character/personality flaws IS a pretty big issue in of itself. Never mind the anti-intellectualism or lack of respect for the position and decorum.
I pay close attention to the issues as well. I'm not falling asleep at some wheel, forgetting to vote every chance.0 -

your first point is actually part of what I've been saying all along. it's not ok to do now that shoe is on the other foot.MayDay10 said:I would also argue and say that anti-Obama folks focused on nothing but nonsense. Shit that wasn't even factual, and it worked in their favor.

my other point was, yes, in light of all of his other character flaws, he seems like a total dick. but this was his own golf course. how I act on my own property does not in any way show my character like how I act on someone else's.
it's his course. he can do as he wishes, can he not? I don't see how this specific incident shows any character flaw, even though we know he has many.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0 -
because he is a lazy tub of lard, who had a fake doctor classify him as 'the fittest president of all time'... and destroying a healthy public school lunch program was a priority for that sick bastard0

not sure what all that has to do with driving a golf cart on his green, but ok.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0

Legally, he can. But others come on teh course and pay to use it. It's not like he's pissing on a toilet seat only he uses. It's a dick move for anyone to drive on a green because it damages the green and affects the way the ball rolls, thereby affecting your game. If you want to pursue the point, it shows a total disregard for anyone but himself. And THAT is a character flaw we all see in him.HughFreakingDillon said:

this is what i had asked before and no one answered. if other people are using the course other than himself and his cronies, then fine. it is a dick move.mrussel1 said:

Yeah, he "owns it" but it's a club, not a personal golf course.HughFreakingDillon said:

He's charging way more for club memberships since he entered office too.

Precisely. It costs 300,000 to be a member there and he drives on the green? It further proves he doesn't give a shit about anything but himself.HughFreakingDillon said:
