"Gun owners that support gun control .......that's a pretty select audience".PJPOWER said:
Merely posting a graph does not mean it is accurate either. I'm just saying that I find it hard to believe that fewer than 40% of Texas homes have guns...not proving bullshit...just calling bullshit. Once again, I do not know ANY gun owners or gun rights supporters that would answer "yes" to ownership on any questionnaire. Gun owners that support gun control may, but that's a pretty select audience.HesCalledDyer said:That doesn't prove the graph is bullshit. Try again.
Well, right from the horse's mouth.my small self... like a book amongst the many on a shelf0 -
It's true. Did anyone doubt that most gun owners probably do not fall in the gun control crowd? I guess I should have said "democrat gun owners" to be more specific.oftenreading said:

I've never known a gun owner (including myself) who doesn't tout that they own guns. The point of the graph is not to try to make you believe only 40% of Texas households own guns, it's to show.. well, it's the title of the damn graph. I know you can read.PJPOWER said:

Touting to your friends is different than opting to answer a survey. Many gun owners are skeptical of such data collection and see their gun ownership as a private matter. The survey is to show that the most heavily armed states are the ones that have the most gun violence, but inaccurate data kinda undermines the legitimacy of such claims.HesCalledDyer said:

Well, right from the horse's mouth.
Well, there's the contingent that insists that gun owners are reasonable folks who would be happy to have reasonable restrictions on guns and that only a fringe group opposes them. Seems that, according to you, that's not true.

Your own link shows that the castle doctrine applied to places like an individual's home or car, which has absolutely nothing to do with either these protests or the hatred being pushed by that NRA statement.

Guns don't kill people
Gun owners kill people.....Manhunt underway after Pennsylvania teen shot dead in suspected road rage incident0 -
More than your home or car, but any or your property. It seems relevant in that it is often the case where "protesters" set fire to businesses or try to open people's car doors. Not to mention, this Antifa crowd that tries to fuck up everything in their path. I gather that this message is more directed at them than the snowflakes wearing pussy hats.oftenreading said:PJPOWER said:

That video was a call to escalate violence, plain and simple.PJPOWER said:
To defend that video puts you in an extremest category. I don't think you are, so please don't defend the indefensible.

So counter protesting is the same as escalating violence? It seems more like a "hold your ground" message, but you can try and twist it any way you see fit. I would counter that defending these violent protesters puts you in an equally extremist category. Seems like you guys are butt hurt that other Americans with apposing views are ready to resist and stand up against the violent protesters.dignin said:

It's nuts. The NRA is clearly escalating fear to push policy, sell more guns and the easily duped eat it up.my2hands said:The country is being overrun by radical.liberal antifa protesters burning and looting there way across the country!!!! PANIC!!!!
