I agree but there are very mainstream liberals who, while not condoning it, have suggested that Scalise had it coming based on his voting record. That sentiment is quite distasteful and harms democrats via association in swing districts.

The GOP acknowledges this happened and are taking this sand other areas of interference very seriously. The Senate just passed a bill 98-2 with respect to additional sanctions and also put in place regulations that would limit Trump's ability to lift sanctions. Hearings are ongoing...did you watch today? Finally Trump has been far tougher on Russia then even his biggest opponents could imagine. The relationship with NATO has actually been bolstered as member states have all volunteered to contribute more (even Canada!) and large scale training missions continue in the Baltics. A tougher stance has been taken against Russian interests in Syria. Finally just yesterday Trump met with Ukrainian leadership to seek closer ties. Ain't no fraud here.

"home of the greatest wrestlers in the world." trump mentions wrestler, dan gable. gable is a olympic gold medalist. i've known many a wrestlers from grade school on up. there is a very large farming family (i know two of the eight or nine boys) where all the kids wrestled through all their schooling years. these guys are squirrely, lean, hard & hardworking. when you grow up on (or around) farms it is on for chores every single day before sunup, then breakfast, school, wrestling, then more farm type chores when back home. it is unreal really. baling hay? get the hell out of here! it's only 95 humid degrees out, kids are tossing around hay bales, feeding livestock, wrestling & sleeping really well until that damn rooster gets fired up again. living in the country you know how to drive & hunt when you are 10 & 12 years old.
