Anyone know what time U2 has been hitting the stage?
In addition, how has the GA field been for the shows? I figure you can basically see all the theatrics from anywhere, but is it overcrowded?

If anybody by chance has a pair of tickets for the Tampa show Wednesday, pm me! I've been in the search trying not to get gouged.. but it seems impossible at this point if you want a decent seat.

They have released some side view seats. $70 seats in 215 & 231, listed as Obstructed, presumably cause you will not have a great view of the screen and some higher up $35 seats in 314, 315, 331 & 332.

231 looks not bad to me for the price, you're on the same side as the B stage.
    This weekend we rock Portland

Boy this Joshua Tree box sounds so great on vinyl. It's well pressed, well cut. If people are debating and the stuff on her appeals to you, I highly suggest picking it up.

Got the super deluxe CD boxset as a gift today. Looking forward to listening to all 4 discs. The box is solid quality - the photo book is impressive. They knocked this out of the park IMO.

yeah i saw Metallica there a month ago.  It wasn't that bad, although tix were expensive (around $100).  But metallica is one of my favorite bands so i had to see them.

Saw them last night in Philly. We had floor GA tix for $70 each which was actually a good deal because sight lines were great from the floor, especially with the incredible production and stage set up. Lumineers were actually very good, U2 was as good as I've seen them before. Joshua Tree was fun to hear in sequence.

Great show last night. I've seen 2 shows at The Linc both sitting at the end of the stadium and thought they sounded good.  I've heard there are pockets on the sides of the stadium that don't sound good.
    Alright, alright, alright!

$70?  How did you manage to get that?  I saw some friends post video and pics from the show.  Looks like Mysterious Ways made it's tour debut?

GA floor tix were $70 for the public onsale, debated it when it went on sale but got a pair easily so figured it was worth it. And it was, they never disappoint, and yes, Mysterious Ways was played in a giant women's lib video/photo montage. The women in the crowd were in heaven, Bono nailed it

Yeah, the women's tribute video had been set to "Ultraviolet (Light My Way)" up to that point. I saw that version in both Dallas last month and on Friday in Louisville. I can't decide whether I'm disappointed they didn't make the change one show sooner, so I could have seen it both ways; I think I like "Ultraviolet" better as a song (and have seen "Mysterious Ways" more times on past tours), but it would have been cool to be there for a tour song debut and to get both versions to compare.

I do, too, as I've always liked it even better than Joshua Tree, but I've been thinking about it for a few days, and I'm not sure how it would work without aping ZooTV too much. It seems like that 1992-1994 tour was the first one where there was a real "show identity," and it's so tied to the songs that I don't know how you separate them to reimagine it in the way they reimagined Joshua Tree from a straightforward 80s show to a video extravaganza like it is now.

But I'd be curious to see them try...
