Get there as soon as you can and you'll get one.  If you can wait, usually the Tool website has posters for sale after a tour ends.

I think it's specific to the venue.  We have what's called "Ford Hall" which is outside the entry to the actual arena but still indoors, they had one there, and they had other set up inside the venue where they have Edmonton Oilers shops.

I actually had to go back twice, they had two posters a vertical one and and horizontal one (same image most have been posting), I liked the vertical better and it was cheaper, got back to my vehicle to put it away (I went to the stand outside the venue) and noticed it was for the Montreal show.

I went back to switch it, I assumed it was an error, but they were selling other venue posters on purpose (for a lesser price).  You couldn't read the City from where you were standing so might not be a bad idea to ask if you see two different posters at the Van show.  Other point, I made it through both times super quickly.

The signed posters were $175 and unsigned were $45 if I remember right.

    Enjoy the show!

Thanks mate. Did they have a couple signed ones at each merch place?
Sweet for once getting a deal with the dollar!

Yeah I know right?  It was a nice surprse.

yeah they seemed to have quite a few signed ones at each stand.  I walked by one stand inside the venue after the show and they were sold out there, the one I bought from at the end still had some.

one thing I forgot to mention, they were all pretty banged up if that matters to you.  $175, I ended up asking for one that was in decent shape, some had edgewear, corners dinged etc....

Heading out in the morning for a trip to the west coast and seeing Tool play at The Gorge. The weather looks great too! I was 3rd row dead centre for Boston Calling which was a cool experience. For this show I opted for the lawn to get the full light show perspective. Anyone else heading to Washington?

I wish!  Can't wait to hear about it, though.

Trying not to read this thread to avoid setlist spoilers. Can someone do me a favour and PM me what time Tool has been coming on stage this tour? I got last minute tickets to Hamilton show tonight. In TO for work and got a good deal so why not!
    PM'd
Thanks again! Saw the show in vancoiver tonight. Only difference in set  from the Hammer was The Pot. That one of my favourites, but either the sound sucked or they sped the song up due to time constraints.

eirher way TOOL is a force to see! Don't think I need to see them twice on a tour again considering identical setlist minus one song

I just got back from Saint Paul and the show there.  Had a fun time and did the VIP.  I thought the VIP was worth it, but to each their own on that.  I gave my spare ticket to someone who was down on their luck.

I noticed that the security was being really strict about the taking of pictures and videos, so they were out in full force monitoring all that.  Show was good, Danny was on top of things.  Had a fun time there.
I saw minimum three people get kicked out tonight for recording on their phone. No joke. inpulled out the phone for the last song and got tapped on the shoulder by security. I didnr get kicked out, but it shows you not to bother recording anything

Finally read up on the last three weeks comments on this thread. Didn't want to spoil the setlist surprise.

for those who've seen them this tour, what did you think of their 12 minute intermission then three song encore? I'd rather they just did a couple minute intermission/encore. The intermission was a buzz kill at both shows I saw this tour, but at least they kicked it in hard when they returned (vicarious one show then The Pot tonight).

Idk, I didn't mind getting to sit down for a few minutes. I didn't think it interrupted the flow all that much.

TBH I liked how they put a countdown clock on the screen.

Not to mention the game of Asteroids!
  • Vancouver show was awesome.

The set list was pretty standard, but The Pot wasn't expected as much as it was hoped for. The Grudge I knew was coming and loved it.

Sound was bang on and our seats were good (lower bowl facing the stage). Picked myself up a signed poster because I'm an idiot. Overall... I couldn't be happier.

Crowd was really good as well responding to the band. There were quite a few morons escorted out by authorities. Some fools just don't know how to concert very well.
