***DONALD J TRUMP HAS OFFICIALLY BEEN IMPEACHED***

President Trump will serve his full term. This Comey stuff is just fluff to cover over any democratic campaign momentum for the next election which should be starting soon since Americans have a ridiculously long election.0

Our founding fathers set things up for a reason. The Dems will recover. Pence won't get elected in 2020. At the least, the pendulum swings back toward the center. And with Pence, you can actually have a debate on the merits of the policy and at the least have a democratic process, letting the chips fall where they may. Trump doesn't understand the democratic process. Only authoritarian fiat.
I'm not saying abandon the impeachment, I'm asking that we split our time between that and trying to better ourselves. Maybe 50/50? Hell I'd settle for 75/25 at this point becuase right now it's 100/0. Could we just try out 75/25, and if Trump starts becoming a dictator then we could go back to 100/0? Is that really asking so much?
this is a left-leaning band's website. anyone with half a brain shouldn't be surprised by constant discussion of an out-of-his-mind republican president. the activity on ted nugents or kid rock's forum would have been equally as, if not exponentially more, active when obama got elected. if those people know how to use a computer beyond looking for the "any" key. it's common sense.
and the majority in this thread are americans. the canadians you speak of are the trump supporters. that part IS weird.0 -

his administration is essentially over now. it is paralyzed. he does not have the political capital to ram through his agenda. all he can do is sign executive orders, which can be overturned by any subsequent president. he is playing defense now. the american people have had enough of him. he is polling at 38% approval rating. obama was polling in mid 60s at his first midterm election and he lost 60+ seats.
the republicans will have to abandon trump because he will be so politically toxic to everyone running for re-election. it is not worth risking their seats to help him.
soon trump will be the loneliest man in the country. he will lose everything. his presidency, his businesses, a lot of his fortune. when this is all over he may not even have a wife to go home to."You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry." - Lincoln

Special prosecutor? I'm so excited they pulled him out of the basement and appointed the right man for the job, a man who can not be bought.

unfortunately, we gotta get pence, too, because he just may be able to push thru some of the repub's despicable agenda.
in a way, I'd prefer 4 years of the trump circus where he accomplishes nothing. If I had known then what I know now...
