I can't stop laughing. Someone goes after hockey to a Canadian...it's just hilarious. As funny as someone going after baseball to an American. ROTF, seriously.Falling down,...not staying down0

Baseball is a beautiful sport. And so is hockey. There are polar opposites in strategy and execution. But at teh end of the day, the hand-eye coordination necessary to be an exceptional offensive player is the same. Anyone that razzes either sport makes...me...angry....HughFreakingDillon said:

and further..... I would love to see a Canadian team win it. I'm Lightning first but if they aren't in it, I go all Canadian. 1993 is far too long since the Cup sat in Canada, where it should be.0

Red Wings. I was born in Detroit; when you go south from Detroit, you're in Canada so we were surrounded by hockey. Gordie Howe was a legend. There's also the Tigers...lots of great memories of Al Kaline too.Falling down,...not staying down0

I enjoy playing it. I enjoy the World Series sometimes (bit of a mark for drama). Of course it takes great skill, but I just find that it moves so slow that it puts me to sleep (on tv-I have gone to a few minor league Winnipeg Goldeyes games). And many people in the stands also.mrussel1 said:

a good friend of mine is in the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame. When PJ played in St Paul, I actually really wanted to catch a Twins game, but my wife refused. So I'm not "razzing" it, I can appreciate it, I just don't enjoy it. I don't mind anyone that razzes canadians for hockey, it's all in good fun!By The Time They Figure Out What Went Wrong, We'll Be Sitting On A Beach, Earning Twenty Percent.0 -
Both sports suck. Basketball and American Football is where it's at!mrussel1 said:

Ok, just kidding. Baseball and Hockey are both great to GO TO A GAME and watch....not so much on TV, especially baseball unless it's the World Series. Hockey is super fun all tied up in the 3rd with the clock ticking down...but only in the post-season. I'll never understand a sport (I'm looking at you too Soccer) that allows SO MANY ties!!!
To get back on topic....they are all better than Trump.hippiemom = goodness0 -
no different than people razzing us for our supposed politeness, fondness for beer, and love of the much-maligned-in-the-states Tragically Hip (whom I've been listening to all day).
