This will be interesting, I can somewhat understand why he got elected in times like these. I hope he will be a good leader and bring the jobs back to people. I hope he will do a good job against terrorism. I hope he will have a good communication with the other leaders in the world. I like to think positive and have faith.

I didn't really get the anti Trump marches tonight through most major cities and I tend to be very liberal. But maybe it's just a way to vent their frustration and pain. And I also believe Michael Moore's posting today was off base and not heathy to the future of politics. however Bernie's post today was very fair and productive for the future of this great democracy.

As for your words that the division of this country started under Obama (odd that you called him by his actual name for once) is garbage. Put aside your hatred of Obama for a bit.....it started under GWBUSH and continued through our current president. GF ask yourself this question is this country in a better position than it was in 2008?

to be fair I said since Obama got elected, that does not mean division has not been around at other times in history

I totally disagree that this country is worse I know you know live here in Florida. When I first came here in 2006 there was nothing here out west in Palm Beach County. Farm land occupied by cows just so that owners could keep their lands. Now you can't find ANY open spaces of farm land its ALL been built up from economic growth. I have two jobs and could've another no time for more work. So I dont know where your thought process is that its gotten worse....easy to say from you due your disdain towards President Obama. You're still employed right?

yes I am still employed in fact thats how I came to Florida( i love it here) our plant in Ca. was closed down and parts of the work went to Poland and parts here in Florida, yes Florida is growing but states like California are losing factories and jobs to over seas companies who have less EPA laws and lower pay scales, I agree it has not been all doom and gloom it's other things I don't agree with during the Obama years that I believe are a problem but there's no point in bringing that up again here on the train.

This is very true
But add in that a "President Pence" would move to end Roe v. Wade, end Marriage Equality, and encourage crap like "conversion therapy". Also would more than likely push to end legalization of Marijuana and close all liquor store on Sundays. Drumpf, in this case, is the lesser of the 2 evils.

Having been has born and raised in SE Tennessee, this election cycle taught me that we don't teach, educate or support enough. There are people in this country who are indoctrinated into the back-wood right wing extremist way of thinking. So do you think simply calling out "Racist!" or "Bigot!" is in any way helping them grow into the present? I've heard more people here say that exact thing; "How am I racist!? I'm not!". And simply talking down to them is no way to bring them up or to understand the flaw in what they've always known to be true or safe. How do we educate? How do we enlighten? I've become enraged with many of my liberal friends asking them "How are we helping these people to learn and grow" when we're essentially saying "You're a hateful bigot and I am better than you". Many people are more receptive to opposing thought, if handled correctly, than what is believed. If we're going to improve our country, then we have to take time to hear the bigotry and the hate and the uneducated and speak to them. Hear their what and why and speak to what those beliefs mean to people. Those who simply call out "racist!!" are just as bad as those who have a racist mentality; neither is bringing our country along.

The GOP isn't going to give the 2/3rds vote for removal from office. He might be impeached but he won't leave office.

not from the reading I did yesterday. it would be a rare move, but it is apparently legal to do so. it won't matter. it's not going to happen.
