Chase always had a flair for the dramatic. 2 curtain calls for a road player. how incredible is that?0

well the past two games haven't helped our chances. Dodgers just overall better than us.8/28/98- Camden, NJ

so what would possess someone to wait in a line for 7-8 hours for a poster or worse stickers? seeing some of the threads on the Porch the lines at Wrigley for merchandise is sometimes up to 7 hours long. call me crazy but wtf is wrong with these people?0
-
I get wanting them but luckily can afford to go and enjoy myself all day prior to shows and just buy shit off ebay if I dont know anyone waiting in the lines who will buy for me.
Saw great game the other night....good win over the Doyers after they way they started (hit/hit/homer) and I thought LA was going to clobber them again.
Have great seats by Nats dugout (3rd row I think) for next week. The love he receives is the love that is saved0 -
Dude...it's crazy. My buddy who came with me on Saturday isn't in 10c and he couldn't believe the lines for merch. The part that shocked me was the lines inside the stadium during the show....every time I went to take a piss I would walk past a merch stand with 15-20 people standing there in the middle of the show. Some people are more concerned with merch than the music....insane.pjhawks said:so what would possess someone to wait in a line for 7-8 hours for a poster or worse stickers? seeing some of the threads on the Porch the lines at Wrigley for merchandise is sometimes up to 7 hours long. call me crazy but wtf is wrong with these people?

I don't get it at all. I waited for 5 minutes in a line at Fenway and that was it. People love stuff. I can't think of any product that I would wait in line to buy. It's insane.Indifference71 said:

If there was something I really wanted, I'd much rather pay double the price and buy it off the internet than waste my time.0 -
Yep. I always end up getting the posters I want when 10c sells them or I bite the bullet and buy on ebay. I would much rather have some pre-show beers or check out whatever city I'm in. Just blows my mind that people would come to Chicago on a beautiful summer weekend and spend 6-7 hours waiting for tshirts and posters.Cliffy6745 said:

Shit - I didn't even realize the Phils would be playing in Chicago right after these shows; vacation plans would've been completely different.0

Phillies have traded Carlos Ruiz & cash to the Dodgers in exchange for catcher A.J. Ellis, RHP Tommy Bergjans & a player to be named later.8/28/98- Camden, NJ

even though i think Murphy is a giant Dbag that was one great article. he really nailed it. As i was reading it and seeing him mention how Chooch always seemed to be there it made me realize I can barely remember who their other catchers were during that run. I know Coste was here around 2007 but 1st thought i can't remember the others. Also saw where Halladay had a great tweet about Chooch. called him one of his favorite teammates and best catcher he ever had.Cliffy6745 said:

Sal Fasano. My memory is a little cloudy but wasn't he one of the catchers leading up to the Chooch era?www.myspace.com0

I think he might have been before Chooch. Kratz was one of them. They had another one, big dude that just hit home runs. Came from jays I think? forget that dudes name. The Juggler said:Sal Fasano. My memory is a little cloudy but wasn't he one of the catchers leading up to the Chooch era?
