I think it IS safe to say Lexington 16 won for the 2016 Spring tour. Demand for that one doesn't seem to be slowing. I personally love the print, but am somewhat surprised it's become so popular. I'm glad I finally got my Lexington 03 print last year so I don't have to sift through all the 16 print listings in my search.0

These are my sentiments as well. I would add that I prefer a skull or skulls not be the focal point of the art, and that art is location inspired. I was at the two MSG shows in 2010. The Soto print was available in the main atrium an hour before the show..... the Donkey Kong was gone the next night. I would likely have purchased the second night print if it had been available, but I don't line up for hours for concert merchandise or pay exorbitant sums of money for $35 artworkbootlegger10 said:I think the Kong (like most recent Ames posters) is overrated. They are like the Nickleback of poster producers (i.e., lets pick Transformers or Donkey Kong and the masses will go for it). They've figured out that all they need to do is put band members on the posters to sell it (Kentucky Six, Trieste 2014, Transformers NYC 2015, Mexico City 2015) and then make three variants of it. The masses love it but give me something actually creative by Sperry, EMEK, or Munk One any day.

would this be the most expensive poster. Haven't seen one in years but if I remember correctly it was $3000-$3500 for a A/PPost edited by DavidD on0 -
That's my holy grail of holy grails. One just sold on ebay for $2950. It was pristine, low numbered, has the stamp most don't, etc. I've seen the same first edition, without stamp, maybe not pristine go for $500 -$1500.0

I think its more than $35 artwork. Well, some. Honestly I think we are lucky they are sold for only $35.BF89905 said:

i've found that all of EB works, except going to my own collection (which is the main reason most of us visit the site), but i can still go to my prints via the search engine. word on the forums there is that the site outgrew its servers. from what i read, it looks like a matter of time before the site is back to full functionality. really cool place, considering its and entirely free service.sak300zx said:

Search engine doesn't work for me. I can't view my collection, but apparently someone can as I got a PM yesterday about one of my posters.whofeelslikeadrank said:

I'd agree with you too.... many of the prints could be sold for more at the original point of purchase...... I imagine that in the grand scheme - depending on the size of the print run - the artists make a nice profit and justifiably so.drakeheuer14 said:

From what I've heard on the boards the artists get nothing from PJ to design the posters, the artists make their money with the APs. I guess they also allow some artists, particularly Ames, to make several variants and they get to profit off of that. I've said it before on this post I don't like the idea of variants but if it makes money for the artists to keep making these great posters it's fine.BF89905 said:

Yea, for $2-3k. If he had 200+, I doubt he'd be charging that much. I'd say there's 20-30 total out there not torn up, aside for the H/C and uncut editions.tempo_n_groove said:

Exactly the same for me. I can view everything on the site except for the 4 links on 'My Page.'HesCalledDyer said:
