One confusing thing already is the school that usually functions as a voting place is open. Dunno what to think of that.

What do you mean? The high school I vote at is always open that day. Is that unusual in NY elections?

To heck with the Polls NY.

It is now officially Tuesday. No more time warp, I'm back on track to say...

SHOW 'EM WHAT YOU"RE MADE OF NEW YORK! GET THE VOTE OUT FOR BERNIE!
I'm doing my part! Unfortunately, I'm seeing a lot of stories this morning of peoples' party affiliations being changed or finding out they're magically no longer registered to vote in NYS. Makes me nervous.

Hittin the polls soon. Can't fucking wait!
You can do a search for NY BOE to check your status.
I checked mine yesterday. It's all good. Nervous for the state in general though.
There are LOADS of stories already of fraud and suppression. Make sure you are able to vote and if not, Google who to call in NY for voter suppression and to the board of Elections.

I dunno but the school is always closed on election day. I've just double checked and it says is open 6-9. I have no idea how that works with the kids being there. I'm also very impressed with the polling hours if it's true.

I can't copy & pate the woke sticker, so apologies for that. http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/2016/04/19/new_york_primary_rules_don_t_benefit_bernie_sanders.html

There's already reports of a bunch of polling places not opening on time or moving to a different location without notifying voters, plus machines not working forcing people to do paper ballots. The lines were really bad this morning too.

I know, and I hear that all the time. If Bernie does lose (still not giving up!) I will be satisfied voting Green's Jill Stein for president and with continuing to focus on congressional, state, county and local issues and the always paramount environmental issues.

There's been over 700 complaints to the BOE regarding today. And a lot of those complaints have to do with hours voting is open. All those senior citizens that get up early and do their thing at 7 a.m.? SCREWED. Everyone counting on voting before work? SORRY. This is a huge, deliberate action on NY's part.

4 years ago, the BOE had 100 calls of complaints on voting primary day.

Ever get the feeling that the word "clusterfuck" must have been coined in response to how screwed up voting systems are?

They were better. They were better 8 years ago when NY had those old lever voting machines. They got rid of those even though they still worked and rarely malfunctioned. It's purposely being done now, because the smoke filled mirrors are clearing and the majority knows more and more now what's really going on in politics thanks to Sanders for uncovering and speaking out against the corruption. Right in front of our faces.

Against democrats. Every single story I've read today has been regarding people who were not showing up as democrats even though they should be. The areas with fucked up polling are majority democrats.

Unless there's been stories out of Staten island that i I just ain't seen yet, which is possible.

Maybe a good choice since CA will go Dem either way. Besides, other than Bernie Sanders, Jill Stein is my numero uno choice for president. But I haven't given up on Bernie yet so no reason to put the cart before the Donkey.

    However...

    http://www.bustle.com/articles/155609-will-bernie-sanders-drop-out-after-the-new-york-primary-lets-break-this-down

"Even if he loses New York, Sanders wouldn't give up this close to the convention, especially with some contested primaries coming up. He's closing the gap in California, where 475 pledged delegates are up for grabs, and even the idea of winning that state away from Clinton could be enticing enough to stay in the race. There are a few other primaries, including Oregon and Montana, that have similar demographics to states Sanders has already won. He's got a good chance to pick up a decent number of delegates and at least continue fighting for a majority rather than an automatic nomination win.

Not to mention the superdelegates. Clinton has gotten endorsements from about half of those available — 469 out of the 719 total. That leaves 250 left over to potentially endorse Sanders as the convention approaches. That number is far from set in stone, but it makes sense if the delegates didn't want to endorse Clinton and were waiting to see how primary season shaped the race.

This race seems determined to continue until the convention, and it just seems too unlikely that Sanders would come this far to drop out after one loss."
