They are caught up in something they don't understand. These are people who are impressed by a bullies nature, by bravado and loud barking and ranting. They feed on anger and hate. And what creates this kind of mind set? Poor parenting and poor education.PJfanwillneverleave1 said:

Yet 70% have a negative opinion of him.PJfanwillneverleave1 said:

And what percentage have a positive view of Clinton?
I would like to compare the numbers.
Either way the voter majority is leaning Trump - actual voters.0 -
Don't kid yourself, all 3rd party voters have yet to voice their opinions, but they will come November.PJfanwillneverleave1 said:^^^

You would think such fine upstanding get out and vote 3rd party voters that want a bern would be out in full force supporting him now and not waiting until November. What is up with that?Free said:

Not enough for Hilary to feel the bern though.
It's like saying that there are a ton more bern supporters waiting to vote?
All of Clintons voters have spoken and she is leading.0 -
... but losing ground. Bernie is on the upswing!PJfanwillneverleave1 said:^^^

Hillary's number is about 55%. It is high, but not compared to Trump. And considering she is leading Trump by an average of 10 points in the latest polls, the vehemency of the negatives is stronger with Trump. Your statement that the majority is leaning to Trump is not backed by any data. Brian, politicians and those in power want to keep us divided.brianlux said:
Only it's not that easily divided up. I lived in western New York for two years and that area was known as "The Bible Belt".PJfanwillneverleave1 said:
We love our southern neighbours don't get us wrong. But like you said some of your bible thumping southern states, wow.jeffbr said:
Yeah, sometimes I feel like we have century zones instead of time zones here. You're right, the question shouldn't have even been raised, and it really wouldn't be where I live. But go to some of our bible thumping southern states, and I feel like we're doing the time warp. Hell, I just read this heartbreaking article that happened in Texas - something that I couldn't imagine happening in my state:PJ_Soul said:At any rate, the very idea that abortion would be illegal is ridiculous. You will not progress with religion.
Anyhow - Americans are nice people and mean well.
The north and south US are still divided, no doubt, but it's a complicated division and a lot of it remains due to the stigma of "winners" and "losers" in the civil war. Maybe if we removed the stigma some of the craziness would dissipate. Wish I knew the answer to that one. The internet might be able to change some of that.10-18-2000 Houston, 04-06-2003 Houston, 6-25-2003 Toronto, 10-8-2004 Kissimmee, 9-4-2005 Calgary, 12-3-05 Sao Paulo, 7-2-2006 Denver, 7-22-06 Gorge, 7-23-2006 Gorge, 9-13-2006 Bern, 6-22-2008 DC, 6-24-2008 MSG, 6-25-2008 MSG0 -
^ To me, the break is generally defined by urban and rural. It's like they say with Pennsylvania... it's Philly and Pittsburgh, with Alabama in the middle.0
