Probably because Sanders has proven to not be a hateful man. What is there to feel the need to shut down? Nothing.muskydan said:sitting in front of the auditorium theater as we speak awaiting the Berns arrival. A crowd of roughly 3500 waiting to get in. There are Zero Trump people here acting like savages trying to"shut shit down". Got a few more FREE buttons to add 2 my collection. Should be real interesting to see what happens in Illinois tomr.

Big day today! Hoping for some great news. Feeling the Bern!!"It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0

If the polls are anything like they were last week in relation to the actual results, then this could be a great night. Polls are showing him leading in Missouri, within 5 or so percent in Ohio & Illinois, down 15-20 in NC and down 25-30 percent in Florida. Even if the polls are only half as full of shit as they were last week he's looking at winning 3 of the 5 and not losing too many delegates in the other 2.
And I really hope that Florida democrats aren't discouraged by those polls either becuase think about it, old people are voting for Hilary, lots of old people live in Florida, polls use land lines, old people are more likely to still have land lines. Those numbers are potentially VERY fucked up.

It was a big Bernie party at my polling place today!!!
let's hope the results from the rest of NC and the other states reflect it.livefootsteps.org/user/?usr=446

Maybe Stein will name Bernie VP.
I applaud his efforts, I hope he doesn't whore himself to the DNC like Dean.0 -
It looked like Ohio had been lost for awhile but the networks were scared to make the call after Michigan.___________________________________________

I hope Bernies run opens Americas eyes to how un democratic our election for pres is. Super delegates win primaries and 5 states win the presidency0

Yes, it's rigged.JC29856 said:I hope Bernies run opens Americas eyes to how un democratic our election for pres is. Super delegates win primaries and 5 states win the presidency
But I've said this all along: no matter what happens, Bernie and his supporters are winners. He and his supporters have brought a new awareness to this country. Think about it. 10 years ago if somewhat told us a man who describes himself as a Democratic Socialist was going to make a run for president and has done as well as Bernie has what would most people say in response? Probably something like, "Are you out of your fvcking mind?"
Hold you heads high Bernie supporters, especially the young among you. You are the beginning of a new era."It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0 -
True... He knew what he was up against, he knew he would literally need a revolution, were not there yet.brianlux said:

Amen to everything you and JC said, Brian. I especially like..."no matter what happens, Bernie and his supporters are winners. He and his supporters have brought a new awareness to this country." I think the awareness of a universal health care that thrives perfectly fine in other countries has been made clear this election. The only defense Republicans have to that is that its socialism. They are so obsessed with getting a Republican in office that they are willing to push Trump all the way through. I'm sure they're all going to find out that no one can fix that deficit quite so easily as he describes--it doesn't matter if its a politician or a great businessman. Anybody in that office is screwed--most stressful job on earth. But good luck to whomever makes it there.brianlux said:

Wow, I didn't think Kasich would beat Trump! Good for him. I guess there really are some loyals around here.
I'm obviously voting Democrat so I could care less what mess the Republicans have now found themselves in.Post edited by pickupyourwill on0 -
