I was surprised to see them around still. Great band, but with only a couple of albums, hard to remember them sometimes (law of averages I guess). They played in north Houston a while back. Tickets were 'spensive. Woulda gone though....but for the long arse drive from the south side of town
I know I was born and I know that I'll die. The in between is mine.

Not at the level of this band, no, but Radiohead would be up there.

Up until the LB tour, I had seen Rush live exactly once more than PJ. However, I don't have near the amount of Rush stuff as I do PJ. Got all the studio albums on CD and a few on vinyl, which pales in comparison to my PJ collection (which, in turn, pales in comparison to a lot of folks PJ collections here!)
Phish.....ive seen them 3x as much as PJ. They like to tour near home a lot more then PJ. Plus the music is top notch and the crowd is awesome(for the most part)
No, and it's not close, haha. I would never consider traveling to see another band or see another bad multiple times in a year or two, let alone multiple times in the same week. I'll occasionally play random stuff from iTunes or pop on a vinyl from another band in the rock genre, but it's easily 95% Pearl Jam. In fact I get more from other bands from what Sirius/XM Pearl Jam Radio plays than I do on my own.
I know there's a great world of other music out there, but the heart wants what it wants, haha.
I've never traveled or obsessed for any other band except Led Zeppelin I only got to see them twice PJ 40 , these days my favorite to listen to is Band of Horses ...oh I forgot one very import foot note I followed Grateful dead for a bunch of shows late 70's early 80's ..
I'll travel ANYWHERE to see... Band Of Horses Beck My Morning Jacket Pearl Jam Will travel 2-4 hours to see: Bon Iver Chris Cornell Faith No More Glen Hansard Minus The Bear The National Wilco

Used to be U2 but over the past 4-5 years Pearl Jam reigns supreme.
Fore, bands like Oasis and Radiohead deserve mention but will never dethrone PJ.
