Did Pearl Jam have final say so in cancelling the tickets? Probably Did ticket.com cancel the tickets without having to discuss it with the band? Maybe
Did a few whiny, crying, sniveling, 50 year olds, who post on this board call Fenway, and Live Nation, and the 10club, complaining that other people were sold tickets?
DEFINITELY!!!!!!!!!!
My post of 2016 so far
And you know its the truth. We both know its the truth. Because that's just how some people here are. GOD FORBID somebody has something "Pearl Jam" that they don't have. GOD FORBID some people have better tickets. GOD FORBID......
I could probably give you 1st and last names of some of the 50 year olds who were on the phone with Fenway, once they found out some tickets were distributed, and they were not a part of it.
Seriously? Who gives a fuck if some lucky people were able to get tickets? Why not just be happy for those people? Why not? Because one thing I have learned about a few people on this board over the last few years.

If anyone needs Fenway tickets you can always reach out to Wobbie. He gets wheelchair seats and I believe he is allowed to buy 2 at a time. You just have to hope his imaginary friends are not in town that weekend.

Post of the decade right there. So damn true and so sad that it s the truth.
So, this was actually a simulation to investigate how a ticket sell would look like without Bots, stubhub, AMEX presales,.... Pretty nice experiment, well done tickets.com!
Next tour, they should try to just announce the tour and onsales like hours before they actually happen on their website. Maybe give an email to 10c members with a code the day before to get first crack like an hour or two before onsale to public starts. Let the news of where and when tickets go on sale trickle down from 10c, to non 10c fans who just check their website, to casual fans via radio/word of mouth/social media and lastly to blood sucking scalpers. Catch them off guard and actually reward fans that keep up with the band.

they have done that before, but not on this level. we'll see. don't hold your breath.

Just heard about this thing now. Sorry to hear about the people who's tickets were cancelled. More so if your money is going to be holed up during the sale tomorrow. That's weak
However though, I am pretty certain the cancelling of the tickets had nothing to do with some people calling to complain. The ticket industry is much more "evil" then a few butt hurt fans.
“I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version.”
During our pre-onsale preparation and testing for the August 5th performance of Pearl Jam at Fenway Park, the event was inadvertently made available online for a short period of time. In order to maintain the integrity of the intended process, tickets purchased prior the publicly advertised onsale date and time of Friday, February 12th at NOON (EST) have been returned and all associated charges have been refunded.
Normally refund will reflect back on your end within 7-10 business days depending on your billing cycle.
Thank you for visiting Tickets.com.

Good luck to all tomorrow.
you have to queue up like everybody else
who wants to be there..
and if your lucky ''good'' enough you get
the pass and win tickets to the show... it
really is like lottery...but you have to be
bloody good... not popular....
but i dont hesitate a chance ''if you wish to
go to a show'' but there will be others
trying too...
Today: Tickets accidentally go on sale and F everyone who didn't take advantage of a major mistake by someone.
Yup.
