Did we ever find out if the published odds were calculated on all entries regardless of priority? Or if they there calculated on priority one entries only? I'm thinking it's the former. Did anyone win a show+seating type combo for a show with < 99% odds where priority was NOT first? If so, then the published odds were based on all entries regardless of priority.
Not gonna lie, this thread pretty much feels like a support group at this point.
In the beggining, when only winners were posting and everyone had a chance still it was great. Now that people are confirmed to have lost, its going downhill...
Just heard on mine. Won: Miami GA (1st choice), Jacksonville and Tampa Reserved, (7th and 8th choice) Lost: both Fort Lauderdale (3rd and 4th choice)
your second choice was FLL GA?

I still like this system better than refreshing or TM. Its stressful in a different way. I dont HAVE to refresh every 5 seconds, and it doenst matter if my internet speed is bad, or lose signal, etc. The worst feeling in the world is when you have something in your cart and the system crashes. Or you click refresh or "find seats again" on ticketmaster and then you actually get tickets, and due to the fact that you have been clicking so much, you accidentally click "find seats again" only to never get those seats again. I have not won or lost yet. But I still like this better.
Exactly! Unfortunately, I will be going through the horribleness you described on Friday....
I like the F5 over this. If I lost, I knew I gave it my best shot. Everyone who was in on those adventures knows all the "tricks" and things that worked. That was fun. This is just depressing when you lose.
Except there are times when you cant logon due to work/school/life. Someone cant log on during a meeting they are giving, a test they are taking, or in case some issue comes up with their family. I feel its unfair to say, "Ok, tickets are on sale in 5 days. You need to be at your computer for 4 hours that day, otherwise you dont have a shot at 10c tickets.
I have to love a system where someone else can enter for the exact same two shows as me, they win both and I win neither!

I'm entered for both Philly shows and MSG2, all reserved. Still says TBD and no authorization on card. Trying to remind myself that in 2013 I didn't get confirmation until 8pm!

I can see why that would be fun if you know all the tricks and things that worked, and if you had time to employ them. But that really really sucks and is terribly unfair to those who didn't know those things and/or didn't have time to do them. The lottery is fair, F5 was not.

Not sure if this has been said, but they should do a weighted lottery. Senior members should have a higher chance than someone who joined last year. The love is still shared while rewarding the loyal.
This has never been how they reward seniority, I don't think they're going to start it after 25 years. The reward of seniority is if you get tickets, yours are better than members that just joined.

NO!!!!
Frankly, I find the idea disgusting.
