Doesn't come from 101 or 89x? Seems odd that The River would have this info.jonsey30 said:93.9 the river in Detroit just said that the Pearl Jam announcement will come on Monday.

What I would give for it to be at the State Theatre. Or "the fillmore." But I'm not sure we'll ever get to see a show that intimate again - at least not in Detroit.buck502000 said:A CONCERT IN DETROIT?

It really seems like they have decided to not go through with Euro tour. Rock Werchter would definitly have announced them today before tomorrow's start of the ticket sale... It could be Monday of course but that wouldn't make any sense... That means flying to the other side of the ocean next year (also nice
)

Werchter is announcing the last headliner in about 90 minutes. Don't think PJ would skip the festival if the tour is still on. We'll see.2014 Vienna

Not that shocked. If Fenway and Wrigley are in discussion, then not out of the realm of possibility for Comerica Park to be on there as well. Saw the Stones there this summer. It sets up pretty well for a show.BeerBaron said:

Apparently Werchter was not on the original info, people just jumped to conclusions when somebody noticed that they are about to announce headliners at about the same time.dresi_4 said:Werchter is announcing the last headliner in about 90 minutes. Where do the Wrigley and Fenway rumours come from? That's probably the case. Someone says "I sure hope we get a Wrigley show again." And someone else says "That would be amazing!" and then someone says "That would make so much sense". But time will tell.mrk2 said:Where do the Wrigley and Fenway rumours come from? Is it just someone's wishful thinking getting amplified over and over again?

Not out of the realm of possibility - they are talking about Canada, close to Detroit. Chris Chelios is great friends with the band. The last time they played in Detroit - epic show at the Joe Louis. So, why not?Gtilley8 said:

They just played Detroit last time around. As much as I would love it (hometonw show!), I don't think it will happen this time around. Like someone else said, it would kind of make more sense to tour different cities than on the last two tours, which were for the same album. Or not.... Well, anyway. They will announce when they will announce. Today would be cool. Monday would be cool. And if nothing happens at all, I can focus on christmasPlease, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue! http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/148993/please-pearl-jam-consider-a-vinyl-benaroya-hall-re-issue0
