Brooklyn 1, 2013. I'm working my way through the 2013 tour, I love the Lightning Bolt album and these shows have the most LB songs.

I think the 2013 tour is amazing. I love that they really went for it, putting on those extra long shows and the best mix of setlists since 2008, in my opinion. I keep my entire bootleg collection on an external hard drive, but my favorite ones (usually around 90 shows) on my phone at all times. Right now my phone is filled with mostly 2013 and 2000 boots.

Id be interested to know which ones have stood out to you as your favs from 2013. OKC 13 used to be my favorite, but Philly 1 may be my favorite from the tour now. Really only a few didn't quite hit me the right way.
My top 10 in date order (and it's sad this is mostly from memory):

    Worcester 1
    Brooklyn 2
    Philly 1
    Hartford
    C'Ville
    Phoenix
    San Diego
    LA 2
    Spokane
    Vancouver

you know after listening to worcester 1 I realized I was not a fan of this boot. I thought a lot of the songs were sloppy (long road and release for starters!) and the crowd seemed to really suck!
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

My list combines the performance of the band and the setlist and I felt this show ranked much higher based on setlist rather than performance.

Nice list! On first listen I didn't quite "get" LA 2, I enjoyed the first LA '13 boot but not LA 2 so much. What drew you to it, or what did you find extra enjoyable about it? I may need to give it another listen. Damn good tour. I still feel like Dallas is the black sheep of the bunch, but I loved that boot. No one seems to mention it too often.
I put LA 1 originally and then I thought I was wrong so I changed it to LA 2. Just checked the sets and I meant to put 1 all along, I should have stuck with my gut. The first encore is brilliant. Night two was good too though.

(I went through the rest of my list and their are no other mistakes )

    Madrid 2006
From the start, this is an exhilarating and edgy ride. Don't let the Betterman opener fool you into thinking it’s a way to ease into the gig. The Madrid crowd is super loud in their cheers and vocals. When it all gets going, Betterman is lively as an opener here. One can tell very early on that Ed’s vocals are scratchy, raspy, and gruff tonight. Going right into Corduroy is fluently done; double shot of Vitalogy is always welcomed. Mike's solo is scorching in Corduroy. Animal and Big Wave paired together is pure raw energy. Listen to the rough texture of Ed’s voice in Big Wave, it accents the song perfectly. Mike again, sounding extra strong and forceful in Big Wave. RVM initiates immediately after the Avocado rocker to good effect. The jam may be shorter, but retains subtle nuances that make it a good one, Mike and Matt especially. For example, Matts tribal work on his toms coming out of the solo/jam is somewhat muted but wonderful. In Hiding-Jeremy-GTF are tight and flow well together, dependable plays. Ed's vocals were stronger on In Hiding than I thought they might be due to his scratchy voice on this one. These tunes give the show a breath or two and are relaxing in a way, but not momentum killers.

Once is definitely on the raw side, for the most part Ed’s voice holds up with it. When it doesn’t break, it is incredibly scratchy but again, it matches the song. But there are a couple moments where it goes, and he basically has to stop singing. Musically, it is golden with Jeff being nicely presented in the mix. In one of the choruses for the Ten opener, Ed scream’s “fuck!” instead of “Once!” Those few snare hits Matt does in between Daughter and Not For You can really get you pumped up, love this as a transition for the two songs; simple but effective. Not surprisingly, Matt and Stone are completely in-synch and grooving for Stone’s solo in NFY. It is nice to hear a melancholy and restrained Modern Girl tag too. As soon as Ed ends the tag, Matt gets Grievance going. Mike is being extra lively and bright in it and Why Go that follows. Lots of drum intros in that stretch of tunes too! Not a single complaint to be found here. Immediately, DTE kicks in, everyone is ON. NFY-Grievance-Why Go-DTE is literally breathtaking, my god what a stretch of rockers. Rather unusually, Even Flow concludes the main set, but it’s exceedingly appropriate for this gig. You guessed it; Mike shines like he’s sent from the heavens on the live staple. I thought his tone for pretty much all of this set was just right, kind of bright with good crunchy textures. It matches Ed’s vocals tonight. Mike’s guitar effects were used more than normal, as far as I could hear, and I loved it. The main set flies by briskly, flows like a flash flood, and it’s a scorcher. No better word for it, scorcher is Madrid 2006.

The Severed Hand pre-recorded intro begins to play as Ed addresses the crowd stating it’s the first time in Madrid in 15 years, and we move into encore 1. Some parts of Severed Hand sounded a smidgen off, but still a fun energetic performance. You would think Small Town coming after Severed Hand would be awkward, but it worked for me. Maybe it’s because it’s the slowest song so far, time for a breather. The crowd sings loudly, and it is one of my favorite versions of Small Town. When Ed singings the line, “Perhaps that’s what no one wants to see,” his vocal melody at the end is different. It gives the song some extra passion and drive in the way he sings it.

A little Romanza is played before going into Man of the Hour. Something happens in the first chorus and Ed slows down, seems to stop playing, but keeps singing. There are some wrong lyrics in there, but the way he fits them in is near perfection. It creates an interesting dynamic, and right before the second chorus, he sings louder and higher notes than the norm of the song. It was beautiful. Matt’s backing vocals are a tad high in the mix for my taste, but not too distracting. Some fans may like it? Black follows, ending the first encore. The crowd singing the outro to Black is gorgeous. I’ve seen this version make “best of” suggestions, and I can see why. Ed’s vocals are sorrowful and majestic before the “we belong together” tag. The tag too sounds like a fragile man, brittle. It’s a version of Black one should check out. Although not anywhere near as heavy as the main set, this encore moves in an effortless manner with some moving vocal moments from Ed (even with his scratchy throat). Main set was Mike’s, this one was Ed’s. Both were amazing in their own way, touching the “soul” by different means.

WWS gets the second encore going. There are a few mismatched lyrics, but overall a dependable rendition. Having Go keep the energy high is great, Stone stood out to me on it and WWS, just a nice level in the mix. Alive-RITFW-Ledbetter ends the gig, with a full band Little Wing tag on Ledbetter. I thought Alive and RITFW sounded extra lively, Mike and Stone in the latter notably.

Extra heavy on the rock numbers, and skim on the slower songs, Madrid 2006 is a blistering bootleg. It is a harder and edgier gig. Ironically, the highlights are the takes on Small Town and Black; both are superb. Another fantastic bootleg from 2006, this one has a unique setlist accompanied by an enthusiastic crowd. Furthermore, the band put on a pile driver of a performance.

It's still good, but it's definitely the weakest of all the Vault releases this for. Kind of cool to hear all of the Binaural songs live for the first time. Set list is kind of cool. Was really kind of a sloppy performance.

I honestly think it was a weak choice for the Vault because we already have the rest of the 2000 tour on boots.

I have been able to purchase the whole 2000 bootlegs set for a fair price (around 500€) so I'm in a process of listening to 1 bootleg per day.
I have only listened to 10 shows as of today and even if the setlists are not as versatile as they are nowadays, I enjoy the energy and I think that Binaural songs are really made for live shows...

`98 DC Constitutional Hall Vault....Not only does it sound great, same quality as Live on 2 Legs I guess, but the band is on fire, Ed`s voice is in it`s prime. If you ever have doubts about Matt`s drumming this will end it.
