Not even close with your tongue in cheek personal responsibility attempt. If a teacher performing classroom management is stepping out of bounds and being irresponsible... yikes.rgambs said:Wait, wait...where are the calls for her to take personal responsibility for her being a total dumbass?
I thought everyone had to take responsibility when they do idiotic things that are likely to get them fucked up?
He is a piece of shit and I hope he gets his ass best for this despicable act.
And there you go again... wait a second (does double take)... err, yah I'm with you on your second comment. But I have to ask... if a cop came on the scene and, understanding what happened, handled fatty roughly... he's not one of the people that you'd encourage to 'beat his ass' right? Just people like you and me, right?
A 66 year old female substitute teacher has no business getting physical with an unruly bastard of that size. When you belly up to someone twice and they push you back with increasing force, the third time you are just being plain stupid.
Suddenly, doing something incredibly stupid (with a perfectly predictable result) doesn't merit a word about personal responsibility.
Of course I am not condoning or diminishing his actions, if someone sees that in my posts they are extremely myopic.
It doesn't perfectly illustrate what you think you do. It's a really weak effort actually and- as I knew what you were trying to do- this is why I said 'not even close'. Because it's not. It's not even remotely close.
I'm not even going to waste my time detailing why because you already know why... unless you actually don't which would make you middle of the pack with regards to intelligence (I tend to give you a bit more credit than that)."My brain's a good brain!"0 -

don't be posting that stuff with all the fuck the police guys around here.
So they call the police. This is great demonstration why cops feel the need to nip it in the bud.
Beast of a kid or not this shit has to stop.
And to people that think the teacher in any way, shape or form was out of line need to get some rest.
Kids are unpredictable.
Cops get called when people don't know what may happen next.
Cops are a human machine. We all know what they are capable of when on scene.

You're saying there is a parallel there with some idiot breaking a school rule, becoming disobedient, ignoring school officials when directed, and ignoring a cop that led to some rough treatment?
Exactly what logic have I presented that is as nonsensical as this? Don't make some vague reference to something you think I might have said- be specific so we don't have to drag this bit of goofiness out. You might not have anything better to do, but I do."My brain's a good brain!"0 -

I didn't think so. No excuse for his behavior, but yes it was a stupid thing to do on her part, with a predictable outcome.
Would you try to push past someone twice your size who was shoving you? Would you recommend it for your loved ones?

It doesn't matter, we are wasting breath on this.
But circumstances are quite different considering she hasn't done anything wrong to warrant the physical attention.
If you've just held a class hostage with your general obnoxiousness or ambled down the middle of a street fresh after roughing up a store owner and stealing from him... the attention you receive has been brought about through your misdoings.
There's a difference between these cases when speaking to personal responsibility. At least in my mind."My brain's a good brain!"0 -

Really tough.
As I pointed out in my first post however, I still blame the system, the culture and the parents. The kids are a product of their upbringing.

That student has some serious problems, I really feel sorry for that teacher trying to just do her work. Mobiles should be left at the entrance of the classroom. For the safety of the teachers they shouldn't have to be the only adult in the classroom.0

I think there is a lesson to be learned in this, namely that humans are fell beasts with corrupted hearts and they should not be trusted lightly or taken for granted. Being old, an authority figure, a woman, a child, or being right won't save you, you have to keep your head on a swivel and watch out for scum like this.Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0
