anybody else hope the recent trend continues of having no opening bands?0
-
I know Andy Slater. He's very well connected in SoFla. Having said that...all he knew at that time was PJ had a hold at BBT and AAA (Miami). He insists both shows are happening, but I'm still skeptical. I think it's one or the other. Hope I'm wrong!!!0

Absolutely. 3 hour PJ shows please.my2hands said:anybody else hope the recent trend continues of having no opening bands?

I'm probably only going to do one Florida show, so I'm trying to decide which one. I'd do more, but I'd like to hit Atlanta and Nashville on the way back home. Was thinking Fort L over Tampa . (you know, when theses rumored dates become "Official dates" lol)Mike's Side said:0 -

The S Florida shows could rank up there. Miami, FTL and WPB have had some great crowds. The yelling match during the daughter tag in WPB 03 is one of my favorite moments. I bet the Tampa crowd is a whole different story this time.primussucks said:
I've been to 19 pj shows. The 08 Tampa show was the most lame crowd I've ever seen at ANY rock concert. That and there were many empty seats in the upper decks. I've also seen pj in chicago 4 times. So speaking from my experience I completely disagree with you. With that said if I'm gonna vacation in april I'd rather go to a pj show in Florida. Mainly cause I love the beach!!rr165892 said:dont fool yourself. Some of the best rowdy crowds have been at Fl shows.Lots of ten clubbers here.Dont fool yourself. We usually always sell out.People rag on Fl crowds but I can tell you they are way better than Chicago,St.louis,Baltimore Crowds hands down.Much more lively and into the show.At least that's my experience.
Ft Lauderdale will probably be off the hook

South Florida was good at least 10 years ago but primarily from 92-2000...in fact, I would go so far to say it was a favorite stop...not anymore...south florida demographic is not the same and therefore the crowds blow...I was at the wpb show in 2008...the crowd was weak sauce.
I do think a Jax show will be different as it is not in South Florida.96 - Ft Lauderdale
