Get the new one (Mutilator is defeated at last) and start with the first track and enjoy! Withered Hand is my favorite right now...May 30th said:0 -

I'd recommend Carrion Crawler/The Dream EP next. It's 2 EP's on one album and has 10 tracks, it's another doozie..May 30th said:Liking this album a lot . Only played this album and their latest disc so far. Next album recommendation by them?

went to Ameoba Records in LA for the first time last week.....HOLY CRAP! What an experience! It was a tad overwhelming & I had 8-9 albums in my hands at one point...haha! I had to slow down a bit & decided to pick the 2 that I would listen to the most. One of which was a no-brainer b/c it's my favorite Nick Cave album.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds--Abattoir Blues/The Lyre of Orpheus
Ryan Adams--Love Is Hell boxset
then I randomly found VS & Vitalogy on Cassette! Haha!
Will be spinning those records while getting caught up on work today & I can't wait! I truly could have spent all day in that store...wow.I LOVE MUSIC.

What is special about that place? I bought a record from them online. I will be going to LA next week should I make a point to stop by?!mfc2006 said:went to Ameoba Records in LA for the first time last week.....HOLY CRAP! What an experience! It's gigantic with pretty much every record, CD, cassette tap you can think of. If you're a record browser, you can spend hours upon hours in there. It's too big for my taste though, feels like I'm at a warehouse rather than a record store. I enjoy more ambiance.FrankY59 said:

As do I, but it's more than worth it to go there once.
You'll be able to find those 1-5 lp's that you can't find anywhere else, plus a bunch of rare stuff.
For example, PJ20 colored LP set for $300.
I LOVE MUSIC.
