I just don't see them printing more than Chrome and charging more for it, they'll take a lot of heat for it, but what do I know, I don't work for Ames.

$250 for a poster? Fuck that. $100 was bad enough for the regular edition.

seems to be a lot of posts here and on FB from people who scored a gold. More than a handful anyway??

my order # is low 9900 and they authorized my CC already.

ames wouldn't say only a handful, charge $250 and then print a shit ton would they?

Regardless of what they will/won't do, no print size diminishes the value for me. I don't buy posters thinking I will sell them in the future, however there is a certain appeal to something that's more limited. I guess the same way people buy luxury items. It's one of my many flaws. Serves me right I guess for going for something so pricey! I've been really good with the merch too, I haven't even hit the pop-up store! This must be pent up frustration acting out right there

It's what the Ebay seller will get for them, so why not give the $$ directly to the artist?

But really, why doesn't someone just email them (helpATamesbrosdotcom) and ask? I didn't get a poster, but I am curious to see what is going on.

I got the gold before I realized they weren't numbered. Limited editions should be numbered. The end.

I don't think most Ames variants are numbered but I agree with you that they should be.
I went with the chrome for that reason - hope it's numbered "_/85".
Is that true? I only noticed with the recent ones, like the St Paul Heavy Metal edition which I also stupidly bought because I was on a plane that just landed and frantically tried to get what I could.

Is the Harry Caray variant numbered? Print run is on expressobeans which makes me think it is.
Well, I bought the Pearl Jam Ottawa light blue variant back in 2011 that was signed but not numbered and more recently the Foo Fighters Chicago purple variant that also is signed but not numbered. So I'd say many, if not most, Ames variants are signed but not numbered.
