what poster did you get Tempo?

I got all 3 but the Ames. People bought those first.

IMO the Pendleton is the one to own. That is a gorgeous looking poster. He nailed this one.
    Love that poster

I didn't read the last 8 pages of this thread but I went to the shop this afternoon and I have some information if anyone cares about that.

The posters, stickers and pins were limited to two of each per person, and this limit was enforced. Poster stock ran out at 1:20pmish (yea, while I was in the line.) Tomorrow there will be more posters than there was today. There's no key chains or little things like arm bands, or at least there wasn't today. There was plenty of shirts. I didn't see any hats, but I didn't ask about them either.

I'm very sorry, but due to the limits being enforced I will not be able to pick up anything for anyone at this time, so please do not ask.

Pearl Jam needs to step up their merchandise game. A lot of that stuff I wouldn't pay pop up shop price let alone eBay price. I went to the Foo's pop up in LA and they had really cool stuff. It seems the PJ team is getting lazy.
I died. I died and you just stood there. I died and you watched. I died and you walked by and said no. I'm dead.
  • Remember folks, you didn't know these shirts and posters existed yesterday and you were possibly content in life.

When PJ played Brooklyn, I went to the Volcom when they started selling the PJ merch, at midnight a few days before.
So many terrible flippers there, buying multiples of whatever they could get their hands on...
Proud that they were gonna make $$$...

I think Chris is referring to you stating that you know something but won't say what until after the show...and that it will be worth as much as the kong...

Only 100 in there shop tops and they always sell out fast, no? This will only gather more steam.

This will be worse than Wrigley… Just wait...

Time and effort = money. If I want a certain t-shirt I could spend money getting to Volcom, standing in line for 4 hours, and then risk not getting the item I wanted. I could also just spend the $150 on Ebay and get the t-shirt mailed to my door step. The $150 route is appealing to some people and I don't blame them (other than buying a $150 t-shirt or poster).

Another merch debacle. Like others have said, you'd think they would have learned from the debacle at wrigley. Limit everything to 2. Do presales for the posters like they did for the 2010 tour. Problem solved.

I'm going to the show and all I would really want is a sticker (shirt too but that's asking wayyyy too much apparently).. Fuckersss..can't even get a little merch without selling my soul. What a bummer.

Actually my guy on the inside tells me the Pope has backstage passes for the show and will be heading down to the pop up shop straight after the show and queueing to make sure he gets his merch. A pop up confessional box hasn't been ruled out.

Haha... I hope they make a Papal hat with the PJ on it! Get that man some stickers. The Pope is cool with limit of 2 posters each and would be willing to trade his Donkey Kong for a Transformers if they don't put one aside for him.

Too bad the shirts aren't Volcom brand. Does anyone know if the caps are Volcom products? The Volcom tees from a couple years ago and the Backspacer Volcom tees are great quality, IMO.

who they fuck are they kidding... these guys love flippers...

the demand for the merchandise is mostly driven by the secondary market value nowadays... and they know it full well... limited supply drives up the secondary market value, which drives up demand, which drives up future sales... and the merchandise hype machine goes round and round

    wake up folks

supermarkets found years ago that if they put an artificial limit on a product, that people bought more of the product... sound familiar? fucking suckers lol
