    I don't know if I get this.... so by protection you mean what? Waving it around and hoping the attackers run away? Because if you mean protection by using it against someone, it is still 100% made for killing. Why you're doing the killing isn't really relevant.

    GF, I actually have a lot of respect for you, because no matter how crazy I think your ideas sometimes can be, you manage to keep it all civil and even-keeled, and you don't drive me nuts.

    I'm not lost. I was wondering why anyone would say that guns aren't just for killing, but for protection too. Offensive or defensive, it's all killing, and what all guns are made for, which you denied.

    So that's the crux of it as it stands on this thread most of us agree that there needs to be more regulations in place to keep weapons that are meant to kill away from the lunatics , well most of us there are a couple of folks who believe that this problem will just magically disappear ...

    I've had a gun in my face and let me tell you, the guy did not pull the trigger because all the suden I realized ..hey he aint such a bad guy and maybe I better be on my way.....fast as I could ! lol!!
