Hey there Fellow Cub fans….So my girlfriend and I are heading out west for the Giants vs Cubs games wends and thurs. Keep an eye out for me in the right field bleachers front row close to the right field foul pole. I will be wearing a Gaudy florescent Pink hat so my buddies back home can see my ugly ass when ever the ESPN cameras pan out to the right field Wall. GO CUBS!!!!0

It's been 7 yrs since we've had a reason to be excited, we should enjoy it. I hear you though, keeping it in perspective. Gonna need a lot of caffeine the next few days, plan on staying up late for these games.lolobugg said:Alpine Valley 6/26/98, Alpine Valley 10/8/00, Champaign 4/23/03, Chicago 6/18/03, Alpine Valley 6/21/03, Grand Rapids 10/3/04

Yup....all year the Cardinals have been winning the division with their young talent. Peralta and Molina are the only guys deep into their career that are consistently in the lineup and you could maybe include Marp in that but he's still fairly young. Guys like Wong, Grichuk and Piscotty are gonna be studs and Martinez and Wacha are the gonna be the best 1-2 punch in the league sooner than later. They have smart management, a great farm system and a new TV deal that kicks in in the next couple years.2-feign-reluctance said:

Well, the cubs young talent is better than the cardinals young talent. That's how they will win the central in 2016. If you compare rosters, the cubs will have a better offense next year. Pitching will always be an issue for the cubs. But that's where the Theo will have to earn his money in the off season.0

Good stuff last night!!
Lets win tonight, and officially put the Giants in our rearview mirror.
