What's crazy to me is that everything I read keeps saying things like "he's so far left" and "left wing nutjob", even the sites that are pro-Bernie say things like this. But where is the evidence?! What in this video shows that he is some extremist that only appeals to the furthest left voters? Because to me it all sounds like common sense. In a country of 319 million people the decision of who our highest ranked leader shouldn't be left up to a handful of billionaires, NO FUCKING DUH! How is that such an extreme stance, has capitalism really got that far out of hand that not only is this the not the most popular opinion but it's also considered "left wing"?gimmesometruth27 said:it is so refreshing to watch a candidate have a positive and direct message. he is complimentary to his opponent.

Well said, Zact!RiotZact said:
For sure! Fox and people like Bill O'Reilly, Michael Savage, Glenn Beck, Ann Coulter and that ever loving teddy bear, Rush Limbaugh will do their damnedest to paint Bernie Sander in red paint with pink over tones. They will jump on this opportunity like kids on a candy wagon and won't let go until the cart tips over. Sanders has his work cut out for him proving himself to be a common sense man who cares for the welfare of the people. But I think he's up to it. His forthright, honest, sensible approach will wear down those who would falsely belittle him with erroneous attributes and he will come out on top.RiotZact said:

Totally. I'm not sure what the history behind this American fear of "socialists" is, but I'm thinking maybe it stems from McCarthyism or something??? It definitely has that same feel of random philosophical fear that has no basis in reality.gimmesometruth27 said:the people who fear the word socialist or use it as a slur need only look in a dictionary.

Oh yeah for sure, it's America's first step to becoming the USSR to many people. Just like backround checks are the first step to the government coming door to door for your guns.PJ_Soul said:0 -
Actually, Rush and Hannity are so consumed with Hilary they have little to say about Sanders, aside from his effect on Hillary's campaign.brianlux said:
The funny thing is that Clinton is their best option for a democratic candidate, as she is hardly a true progressive.Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0 -
Does that mean that Sanders is above reproach even for the nutbags (given their brand of criticism, which always had a tinge of nasty), or that they are just dismissing him as a non-factor in this election, just like many are dismissing Trump outside of the comedic factor? With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. It isn't either, it is simply an obsession with Hillary.PJ_Soul said:Does that mean that Sanders is above reproach, or that they are just dismissing him as a non-factor in this election, just like many are dismissing Trump outside of the comedic factor?
They just salivate over Hillary's mistakes, the obsession with Benghazi is just the tip of the iceberg.
They love pointing out that Sanders is catching her in the polls, and they are a bit dismissive of him, often calling him things like a curmudgeon. They do take him seriously in the sense that "insurgent candidates" are all the rage right now, a reflection on the distaste with the DC establishment.Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0 -
Rush refers to the Clinton Foundation as the Clinton Family Crime Foundation and Hannity plays two sound bites "Don't you someday want to see a woman President?" and "What difference, at this point, does it make?" at least a few times each hour, sometimes looping them like a JV DJ on a failing top 40 station.
They spend hours each talking about her every single day, and even admit that they need to move to different topics sometimes, though they rarely do.Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0 -
Sounds unbearable. I try watching Fox News once in a while because I think it's important to know what bullshit is being put out there for the masses to believe, but after about 5 minutes I just can't take it anymore.rgambs said:Rush refers to the Clinton Foundation as the Clinton Family Crime Foundation and Hannity plays two sound bites "Don't you someday want to see a woman President?" and "What difference, at this point, does it make?" at least a few times each hour, sometimes looping them like a JV DJ on a failing top 40 station.

It was tough at first, now I just laugh and count the lies. It's good to know what they are up to, listening to their radio shows I can always predict what a right winger will say about a topic in another day or two.PJ_Soul said:Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0 -
