Hey, I had one of those removed years ago too, although it was on my arm. No twilight anaesthesia for me, sadly; just local. I have a scar but who cares about a scar on the arm. My arm did not become lazy.hedonist said:Oooh, I had that on my cheek (the facial kind). It was outpatient, but still surgery (with that twilight anesthesia AND stitches - thank you Mederma!). Scary as hell and there was a chance "something" could be severed in the process, leaving me with what they called a lazy face. I cried before going in.
The surgeon kicked ass, thankfully.
I guess Rob gets a pass for laughing, given his history.
Hrrmph.my small self... like a book amongst the many on a shelf0 -
Neither did my face!

We all got scars
I'm actually OK with mine - each and every one.0 -

Whenever Mr.Cash is invoked into a thread, that thread gets better instantly.
Hedo my wife had the same thing behind her ear.I remember the doc talking about the nerves that could be effected.0 -
RR, we know you tried...but docs can get weird about what gets filmed/photographed (perhaps they fear a lawsuit?). I hope you are feeling better.
Hedonist, LOVE those pics of Mr. Cash. Brought a smile to my face.ELITIST FUK0 -

My lovely lumps...The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

So, we keep the wet and dry cat food on top of the fridge. Last night I went to fill up their bowl of the crunchy stuff - pulling the bag down, it hit two cans, which fell hard on my second favorite toe. Gashed it under the nail, pretty bloody.
Never thought a little appendage could cause such radiating pain! Like a lingering vertical version of stubbing your toe.
It's still throbbing but at least it didn't turn black.

Thanks, rr! It's currently not pic-worthy. Just a lone sorry toe with a bloody-ish bandaid.
This morning, husband said if it had to be amputated, we could make a toe necklace out of it.
Makes up for the good care he took of me last night.0
