The outlying area that's used for bathrooms/food/merch/etc isn't too big, and because of that pretty crowded. So if there are charging stations (I don't remember), it would probably be difficult to use. I'd go pocket charger! Nifty thing to have anyways.on2legs said:Will there be charging stations?

is the only US show this year? or MSG is to be expected?dimitrispearljam said:I guess the band will play likea 45 min-1 hour show in that event

I have no inside info, but it on the surface it doesn't make a lot of sense that the band would haul all of their gear and some (or all) of their crew across the country to play an hour long set that I presume they won't get paid for.Air23 said:

I think worst case is there are a couple of other shows similar to 2012. Best case would be 10-12 shows in cities they've skipped so far for Lightning Bolt (I see this scenario as highly unlikely since there are zero rumors out there for North American shows).0 -
Don't think they would be taking all , or even most, of their equipment. Or even crew for that matter.Ryan said:

Yes, they take their techs for these shows as well as their own gear.pjsteelerfan said:

I know that. I am saying for a one off charity show they may not take the full crew and gear they would on a tour.Ryan said:

If I had to take a wild guess, I would say PJ @ Central Park this summer. End of September.Post edited by TORCHIA on0

I go every year to Global in Central Park. If PJ plays (fingers crossed) at least my bf will go again. It's a pain in the ass to get in and the food situation is awful. Security is tight but you can get nips in no problem. They finally opened water only lines last year which was much needed b/c the food / bev lines are well over an hour wait. Eat your big meal of the day before entering since I do not see this changing at all. You're put in a "pen" and that is where you live for the day. Meet up with your friends before going in otherwise there is a very good chance you won't be together.
My guess is they will pull a Neil and play about 70 minutes. Whatever. I miss them so much if they play 1/2 hour I would be happy.
Only difference for me is I'll be sooooooo excited and I will get there super early, bring Cards against Humanity and chill on the lawn all day.Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!0 -
Toronto & Montreal in September? I'm down for that.primussucks said:They didn't play eastern Canada at all on lightning bolt tour so some shows in Toronto and Montreal around this time could make some sense.

If they could also include a date in St. John's, Charlottetown, Halifax, Fredericton, Quebec City, Ottawa .. that would be great too!

It's been pretty well documented for a couple months now that this is happening. If you really want to surprise people here, tell us whether or not there are other shows besides Global Citizen.TORCHIA said:

Still have my fingers crossed they will be playing Boston Calling the night before or after Global Citizen.
