Boston Calling?

The twice annual Boston Calling festival just announced their fall dates. September 25th - 27th, with acts to be announced at the spring shows over Memorial Day weekend.

Ordinarily I wouldn't think twice that Pearl Jam might play this. They would be the biggest act ever to do so. But, the festival is getting bigger - Beck, My Morning Jacket and The Pixies are headlining next month.

Two things about the dates jump out at me. 1) These dates are new. The fall show has been on Labor Day weekend the last two years. And 2) These dates line up perfectly with the rumored Global Citizen show in NYC on 9/26. They could easily play Boston on Friday or Sunday.

More than likely this is just a pipe dream but...dare to dream.

    couple things going for you: they seem to like Boston, if Citizen is a go, have to pay for hauling that equipment to the east coast somehow. I still think Canada is happening this year, so long shot but not ridiculous.
